My local teack is set up for 1/8 scale buggies and alot of the jumps are almost impossible for me and my buddies to clear, met a gentleman out there one day after work durring one of my practice sessions and he tild me to get this if i wanted to make the jumps. Sure enough it allowed me to get the traction i needed to clear the jumps with ease. now the other guys are spinning out trying to keep up in the corners and over the jumps. makes a huge difference and works great for my style of driving!

Installed this on my kid's Stampede VXL 4x4 on 3S. My kid thinks the truck is faster. It's not, it's just much better controlled. It still wheelies but it's much smoother about its acceleration. I thought about dropping the weight of the oil to reduce the wheelies but it's working really well as it is. It's def way better than messing around with the spring loaded diff.

Using this with XO-1 differential gears, aluminum drive shaft, and MIP CVD shafts in a Rustler 4x4. This setup has been exceptionally durable.Per the instructions, this comes with 1M weight differential lube from the factory

traxxas say to use traxxas 3943x Traxxas Hardened Steel Pinion and look for leaks mine was leaking when it come out of the box

So far so good. Ran several times over the weekend. Slash 4x4. 2650kv motor. 4s LiPo. It seems to be holding up to my bashing. Looks to be very well built. This isn't just a metal version of the Platinum Edition center diff, this is a whole new re-design. Why would I want a center diff in a set-up like this, you ask? Wheelie control. It still wheelies a little, but this cuts it down a lot. Comes with 1 Million weight fluid, which works great for me. Believe it or not, it still has diff action with this thick of a fluid. On a lower powered set-up, you might want to change to thinner fluid though.Cons: Expensive for what it is. I stared at it for a long time before pulling the trigger. Hopefully, the price will come down soon.
