The fluid in it might be okay for driving around the yard but I put 200k weight in it. At the local off road track the stock fluid was too thin but the 200k is way better!

The description is appauling, soon as i received i posted to a group, nearly 10 people all said it will melt with my 3s & 4s batteries.Description doesn't say anything about maximum battery size, i looked at instructions they say maximum battery 2s off road only.I will be running 3s occasionally 4s, only on tarmac roads & drifting 30mph+ ill destroy it in 1 battery.PLEASE SEE PHOTOGRAPH OF INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE POOR SPECIFICATIONSI will be ordering the Remo Hobby metal diff thats half the price

The gear was not interchangeable with 3rd party gears.

I run this in a slash with a log chassis tekno axles and spectrum motor and I consistently win in the sct oval dirt racing I run a steel gear tho the plastics don’t hold up

Das Mittel-Differential habe ich ich meinen 4x4 Slash mit CG Low Chassie eingebaut....funktioniert einwandfrei.Die Montage ist in 5min. erledigt.

I was initially going to pass on this upgrade but when I saw the price compared to my local hobby shop I decided it was worth it to play around and see if it was all its cracked up to be. I have noticed additional traction and my car handles turns a lot better now. Overall I recommend getting it as long as the price remains low.

It was pretty easy to install. You just remove the slipper clutch assembly, screw the spur gear onto the center differential, then put it into the car where the slipper clutch was located.As far as how it performs... it's great for soft dirt / sand surfaces. If you're going to race it at a track, this is a must.If you're going to bash with your truck, this may not be for you. You'll lose the ability to do wheelies. A lot of power gets sent to the front (even with heavy weight diff fluid) From what I've ready, 3s lipos break these center diffs pretty easily.If you do crawling, you'll definitely want to stay away from this diff. It's already bad enough to have open front/rear diff to where you spin off power through the wheel with the least traction, but if you add a center diff, it'll be possible to spin power off through a single wheel. Not ideal for crawling.For racing around on soft surfaces, like a ball diamond or dirt track, it's great. If you tune the car to do easy power slides, it's even easier with this diff. You get the rear to come out and enough power gets sent to the front where the front wheels pull you around the corner to help counteract the oversteer.For the price, you really can't complain.Cliff notes:If you bash, don't buy this.If you race, buy this.

I kept burning out slipper clutches,bearings, and that crappy plastic piece, almost every time i used my car. I installed this center diff, which is extremely easy to install, and my car hasn't broke yet. It even comes with 3 diff gears. I am very happy with this mod, in fact its my only mod! I only purchased it so I would not have to keep replacing the slipper clutch assembly.
