I teach middle school science and was wanting some additional metersticks for my classes and decided to give these a shot. They work well, they are about as accurate as any other brand i've tried, and are well priced for the quantity. Keep in mind though, these are pretty flimsy and can break easily. So long as you are able to keep the kids under control and not have them swinging them around like swords, you should be okay.TLDR: If I needed another set of these, I would buy them again

It's a ruler, and it measures accurately. I actually purchased these to cut up and make dividers for small drawers. I did, however, get to use them for their intended purpose a few times. Measurements are accurate (tested against tape ruler and smartphone). The wood is cheap and not finished too smoothly, so it may cause splinters. The edges are not quite straight, so you won't want to use them to draw a straight line. Buying these was cheaper than buying the wood I needed, and I didn't mind having the ruler markings on it; so cheap is it's superpower.
