Best little Tripod on the planet and plays well with the Pocket 3.

This is a decent tripod if you know what you're getting and have reasonable expectations. From the photos I expected to be able to lock it into multiple positions. That's not the case. It's either fully closed or fully open.It is made of plastic and the material has a nice feel to it and feels durable, but I actually prefer plastic in most things, so this is either good or bad based on your needs. That being said, don't expect this to hold much weight. With a mirrorless camera and a small lens it kind of sinks under the weight. The only thing I would really trust this with is a GoPro or phone. With this only holding your camera couple inches off the surface there's not many use-cases I can come up with. If you have a small ball head to throw on it that would help. The legs move all at once which can be good or bad. It's nice and quick to deploy, but you'll have to be on a flat surface to use it. You won't be able to prop one leg on a higher surface or mount it in awkward locations.Overall, for the price it's a good tripod if you have a very specific use for it.

This is a very nicely designed plastic tripod that is convenient to use with an iPhone adapter for filming on the go.It also servers a table top tripod to watch movies on my iPhone.Recommended!

Feels sturdy and durable. Using with a DSLR at table level. Works well so far.

It's not feature-packed, but it does its job with aplomb. The tripod's mount is just a base mount — rigid, no articulation — and its face is 2½" above the table the tripod is sitting on. There are no intermediate heights. It only works with the legs extended all the way, despite one of the promo pictures. The face of the mount seems to be just plastic, not rubber, but it has a texture and is slightly soft. It seems to do a decent job of holding whatever is screwed onto it. The diameter of the mount is about 1⅜". (This should also be the diameter of the tripod when collapsed.) The bolt on the base is ¼"-20. The widest spread of the feet is about 10¼". The distance from the center of the mount along the short axis of the foot-triangle is about 3¼". Along the long axis, it's about 5⅞".There is some flex as you put weight on the tripod. I wouldn't put dumbbells on it, but I think it should be okay with realistic camera equipment. The feet have rubber pads. Reasonably soft, but not extra sticky. I was able to tilt a moderately lacquered surface it was sitting on to about 25° before it started sliding under its own weight. It might be possible to pinch yourself in the legs of the tripod if you close it without care, but the edges of the legs are rounded and kept slightly offset, so it's far more likely to be "Ow" than a cut or a blister.

You would think I ordered this for a camera stand or some type of gimbal or selfie stick but I did not. Although it fits my stick and is way better than the original base, I actually got it so my LED grow light for my Meyer Lemon tree would stand up. The original stand was pretty heavy and when I got the box it was ripped and the base was gone. When I realized any ordinary camera sized screw would fit the hole I remedied that problem. Good thing too, flowering time is almost here and I will need to use these for a few hours every night so it gets more light.Being as I am using it for a stand, it is awesome. It is rock solid and more stable than the original unit. I would recommend this for a gimbal, selfie stick or any type of camera or cell phone camera base.

Overall this is a great desktop tripod that can also work as a handle. The whole thing seems to be constructed of plastic, but it seems quite thick and sturdy. The legs open smoothly together, and the pads on the bottom of each foot cushion it a bit as well. The simultaneous opening of the legs also is quite handy, although I don't know if the mechanism is completely durable; only time will tell. It seems relatively sturdy, though. One thing to note is that it only has two positions, open and closed, so it will sit quite close to the surface you place it on and will take up the full area.

I do macro photography and it is simple and easy to carry to get on the ground and take pictures of grass, wild flowers. It supports well the camera.
