I got this primarily for camping. We do a lot of camping and always need places to hang towels to dry, dog leashes, garbage bags and what have you. Usually, this mean draping a wet towel over the back of a chair, or over the spare tire on the camper or something. This will solve all of that, and I'm especially looking forward to a good clean place to hang towels. It's very well made and designed, with good quality materials. It has strong positive-action locking on the straps and states that it can hold up to 100lbs! I wouldn't be surprised if it can exceed that. The only issue I have is the strap could have been a bit longer for larger tree sizes. Here in the west, most of the trees where we camp are redwood, cedar, or ponderosa pine. Those all can get pretty big and this strap will limit some of the trees we could utilize with it.

I am in a camping group and one of our challenges has been to find somewhere to hang a 55 gallon trash bag that will get quite heavy as it gets filled. I also like to keep our axe and maul off the ground so that ground moisture doesn't cause more rust on them.These hooks fit the bill rather nicely. They are bigger and sturdier than I thought they would be and should not bend any with the weight of what we are hanging. The strap is thick and should not tear or wear out anytime soon and it's generous length should wrap around most any tree we have around us. The trickiest part was wrapping it around a larger tree by myself.And the included carry bag - sweet bonus. Order this, you'll be happy you did.

I hang a number of tree stands and love having a hook to hang my pack. I don't like screwing into the tree (too permanent, plus I can't always remember which ones have one installed already). This solves my problem. It comes with 4 hooks and I only need 1 per tree. At $25 that is a great deal. I have a number of other straps from old trail cameras, which work great. The hooks are much heavier duty than you'd need in a tree stand.

Solid built, good finish on the metal, straps are rugged enough while still thin enough for good flexibility, carry bag works but is a little small.The Hooks have a P.E.T layer around the hook itself to help avoid marring, small metal ridges on the back to help secure them in place. They also have 4 pre drilled holes so they can be screwed in, I disapprove of that because it's very damaging to the tree and can easily kill it, also makes it less safe to return to the same tree in the future if you find a good hunting spot....While I do occasionally hunt, I not in a good area for it currently and don't actually intend on using these for hunting anytime soon.I got them with the intent for hammock camping, I can throw it around a tree at chest height just below my whoopie straps and hang my backpack on it so my gear doesn't have to sit on the ground during the night/ with a proper setup will add an extra layer of water protection. With these I can easily place my bag an a second one on the Hooks with room to hang 2 random items like a light.Uncommon to be done but I've actually camped with several people before where we used one large tree for one of everyone's hammock mounts and setup in a formation like a star around it, in that case you could have 4 bags hung off the central tree.Great for hunters and campers alike.
