I bought these after recommendations from my therapist to use them not as trekking poles, but as stable walking poles. These poles are adjustable to your height (not all poles are even though they are advertised as such) which makes a big difference. Great purchase and helping me increase my walking distance.

Have been using these on several long summer hikes through national parks. They work well. Standard steel cable inside. Light, and has a storage bag. I've just been using their "rocky road" tips which are durable and grippy. Straightforward to quickly assemble for use, and easy to recollapse. These wrist straps have a buckle which I find more intuitive and easy to adjust than other strap styles. The handles are hard versus other styles that have a little give, like cork, but this is good enough.I would definitely be happy to bring this along on all my hikes.

Theese poles are not very good, broke when we got to the mountaintop. Descent without the pole was very hard.

The product looks good, the design, structure and color looks good. However, the quality is not consistent. The pair of the sticks looks the same feel the same yet, one works good while the second one broke at the first use. The part connects the pole and grip snapped. The defect could potentially cause major injury.

Once assembled, these walking sticks are stable and reliable. They are also very light. Carrying them during walks doesn’t add any extra burden. When not in use, they can be conveniently disassembled into three sections for easy transport.Setting them up is straightforward. Simply extend the middle pole until you hear a click from the quick-release ball lock, ensuring it's securely in place. Then, adjust the height of the handle pole to your desired comfort level and tighten the latch.Additionally, these walking sticks come with four different baskets to accommodate various ground conditions. However, the included raincoat however seems to be made of flimsy disposable plastic. Despite this, it doesn’t affect my five-star rating for this walking pole.

My wife and I are planning a trip to the Rockies this summer and have been looking for some trekking poles to use during our hikes when I came across this pair from AISUNOUTDOOR. They look like they will fit our needs perfectly and were very reasonably priced. The package includes a pair of collapsible aluminum trekking poles as well as different tips and baskets for each pole. Each pole has the standard ice & gravel tip that's built and you also get a concrete/asphalt "foot" shaped tip, a round rock tip, a mud and sand basket and a snow basket for each pole. Each pole also comes with a nice Nylon storage pouch to store the poles and various tips in when not in use. These poles are made from aircraft grade Aluminum and weigh just over 10 oz each. They have a 3 piece design that's held together by a metal cable and spring located inside the poles. When they're collapsed for storage they measure approximately 14" in length so they're small enough and light enough that you can easily store them in your backpack or inside your vehicle. They're easy to extend and assemble. You just undo the Velcro strap holding the three sections together, slide the three sections into one another and then extend the top most section out from the handle until the locking pin pops out and locks the sections together. The cable and spring hold the poles together firmly and all you have to do to collapse them again is push in the spring loaded locking pin and pull the sections apart. The poles feel quite firm once assembled although there is a slight bit of flex in the shaft if you put your full weight on it so they will help absorb shock and provide a more comfortable experience, especially on uneven ground. These poles are also height adjustable and can be extended from their lowest/shortest height of 43" (110 cm) to a maximum height of 51" (130 cm) which is great because I'm 5' 11" and my wife is 5' 5". Just flip open the locking collar and adjust to your preferred length/height. There are markings on the shaft that go from 115 cm to 130 cm in 1 cm increments and a Stop Line so you don't pull them out too far.Overall we're very happy with the quality, features and price of these trekking poles, so they get a highly recommended and 5 out of 5 stars.

These poles have a quick adjustment latch that lets me configure the length of the pole. I found I can easily adjust the poles to find a height that fits my trekking style. The poles are very light.. One pole weighs 10.35 oz. according to my kitchen scale. They're made of aluminum and they come in 3 sections that are tethered with a cable running inside the pole. Being able to collapse each pole into 3 segments make the poles compact enough for me to transport theem around in my backpack or car. Each pole comes with a bag for storing and keeping the pole and attachments together. The bag comes with a cord stopper for quick tie up and release. The cable in the pole helps to guide me to connect the separate pole segments into the final complete trekking pole. I noticed that when you connect the separate segments, the pole is not fully attached and the segments will fall apart. To keep the segments firmly in place, the top-most segment needs to be pulled until the spring button pops out. To collapse the trekking pole, press the spring button in and slide the top most segment over the spring button. The 3 segments should slide out and you can continue to collapse the trekking pole. There is a quick release lever on the top most segment of the pole to help adjust the height of the trekking pole. The pole itself has inscribed height indicator markers in 1 cm increments. This lets me remember my personal settings when I need to re-assemble my trekking pole quickly when it has been stored away. The pole itself comes in a nice aqua blue colour. It's sturdy, strong, and does not flex. The handle is a rubber black material (gives off a rubbery smell) and is contoured nicely to fit my hand. It feels comfortable when walking with poles in hand. Integrated into the handle is an adjustable wrist strap. It's a typical strap you will find on ski poles. Most of my walking is on concrete or asphalt. There's an attachment for this along with attachments for mud and stand, snow, and rocky roads. The trekking pole is made for ice and gravel. You can insert the other attachments over the ice and gravel tip for your trek preference.
