These are for my lead ropes. The casting is not the best. They work, but you can see the defects.

Snaps rarely wear out but my old ones did so I gave these a try. I got these specifically to use on my stake out hose/rope combo. The thumb switch is nice. These are fairly heavy that indicates to me they are well built.

Very well made. Bigger and heavier than I expected. Would be really great if 33% smaller.
