Finally got it mounted on a project gun, elevation doesn't adjust at all. I'll reach out to trijicon, hopefully it's a legit sight and not a counterfeit. Based on my experience with trijicon this is not the quality I expect.

Bought this for a Staccato C2. You'll need a mounting plate (Dawson Precision is who I used) to mount this to this gun. I run ~300 rounds so far. Sighted in easily after using a laser bore tool, and about 5 shots at the range. I'm 55, and as my eyes are starting to get fade just a bit, this makes the process much easier. I know that it will take more training to get proficient. I found the 5.0 MOA to be great for a carry gun. Equivalent of a 1 inch dot on a target 20 yards away. I could see lower MOA to be more difficult to pick up. Highly recommend.

I verified with Trijicon that the SRO I received was authentic. It shipped fast, and was even insured (required signature). I was worried when I saw the seller was a company i hadnt heard of with a name like ABCD. However, it turns out it was authentic, fast shipping, and everything is great!

The Trijicon Optic is the best on the market . and the SRO I think is the top of the line. Adjustable brightness , big enough for a quicker spoting the red dot . brings up my accery. .DocPS : after 5 of these , only one did not work , 5th one was to replace failure, it works great. You should include the little plastic batery cap tool, for $600 , bought this tool , because i have 4 sro's . $ 25 for little plastic tool , shame on you !!!!!! Doc it works.

I shoot USPSA and Steel Challenge, and I really like this optic, especially with the 5 moa dot. I'm not shooting bullseye, so fast target acquisition is more important than being able to shoot the left wing off a gnat at 50 yards. After about 3000 rounds, I somehow managed to put a tiny scratch or chip dead center in the glass, probably from spall coming off a steel target. This caused the dot to start looking like a nebula, so I sent the optic back to Trijicon. They are going to fix or replace it for free, even though I'm pretty sure the warranty doesn't cover this sort of thing, so kudos to Trijicon! There are two things I don't like about the SRO, which is why I'm knocking one star off:1) If I'm shooting in the general direction of the sun, there is an annoying red blob that appears in addition to the dot. If you're running around and shooting fast, it's very easy to mistake the blob for the dot. I should point out that this problem is not unique to the SRO, and I'm not aware of an optic that doesn't do this to one degree or another (although I hear that the SIG Romeo 3 is pretty good).2) I wish there were more brightness levels to choose from. I haven't played around with the automatic setting very much, but in manual mode the dot goes from "Where is it?" to "Oh, there it is!" to "Wow, that's really bright!" with nothing in between. 90% of the time the "Oh, there it is!" level is perfect, but there are other times when it would be nice to have more options.

I've been shooting action pistol competitions for 6 years and have shot many different red dots from numerous mfgs. This sight is by far the best I've ever used. The brightness and clarity of the dot in sunny conditions is unmatched. I would have to reduce the brightness 2 full settings to equal the maximum brightness of my Vortex Razor red dot. No more searching for my dot after making stage transitions or losing the dot when the sun is in my face. This is a must have optic for competition shooters. I would not recommend for use on your every day carry defensive pistol, it's just not designed for this type of use.Mounting is easy, comes with long screws that can be easily shaved off with a Dremel like tool. No need to buy extra screws for Glock or Springfield adapter plates if you can cut the screws yourself. Not sure about other model adapter plates.
