TRIM MIST is a surface active synthetic coolant concentrate for spray mist operations. It is a clear and virtually odorless fluid that controls the overspray that is common with standard cutting and grinding fluids. It works well in cutting/grinding operations or where spray mists are used on boring mills and high-speed face milling.

I am a hobby machinist and needed coolant to try. All concentrates are available in 1 gal and 5 gal packaging, which makes more than 10gal solution. I cannot compare with other brands, and I needed a smaller packaging to start with... Hope that seller could have other packaging. That is why 4 stars.

I wanted a mister or cold gun to help lube the cut and eliminate re-cutting of chips.I run the needle valve for the coolant almost closed so it just barely supplies coolant but it is sufficient.I run the air at 40 pounds and a good string flow (I have no CFM data). It blows the chips away.The result is a dramatic increase in speeds and feeds and a much better finish.

Works great. I tested it out on some 1/4” mild steel with a 1” drill bit. Cut so sweet the first time I drilled two more. Bit showed no wear at all. Have to say I must have got lucky because I say a few reviews about receiving it damaged or leaking but mine was packed well and in perfect condition. The plastic jug is pretty thin material though. Five out of five for me. I recommend.

Mixed at 20 to one, it's probably the last gallon I'll ever need. I used to use RV antifreeze, but lately I started getting dizzy just being in the same room with the mill. Doesn't happen with this stuff.

Working great in my surface grinder. After grinding no sign of rust and it works great while grinding. Great product for the money and I will probably order more when the time comes. A little goes a long way. I use a refractometer to make sure my concentration is good. Highly recommend.
