The same thing happened to me as another customer. I got a piece of cardboard with the nails attached, but no wire hanger. I’m not sure whether there is a mechanized system that pulls this off the shelf, but the wire is popping off the cardboard because there is no plastic sleeve. I even had them replace it, and then the next day, the cardboard backing with no wire hanger arrived AGAIN.

Excellent device to support plates on a wall. The metal and springs are strong. Very easy to use. I recommend this for plates that are 10 inch in diameter.

From the title you'd think this was brass wire, perhaps with white coating ends that could be removed but it is white-painted wire

These are easy to use and you really can’t see the hardware at all - used for hanging oyster plates.

I had 3 lightweight 10" plastic plates (the kind your kids color on for your special occasion), that needed hanging. I wanted a white plate hanger that wouldn't scratch the plate. These fit the bill and were easy to install. I read a review of one type of plate holder not holding the plate flat against the wall. These work very nicely, were white, easy to attach to the plate and easy to intall on the wall and they laid flat. The only mishap was one of the picture hangers (hook/nail) was misdrilled by the factory. The drilled hole was off center and the nail hole itself was too small for the nail. Luckily I had a different kit that had a lot of picture hanger hooks/nails so I just grabbed a different one. Plates look great!!
