It is made from the same tea plant, Camellia sinensis, used to make green and black teas, but uses special white tea varieties, and is minimally processed. Triple Leaf Tea's White Peony white tea (Bai Mu Dan) is from the Fujian province of China. White Peony tea is considered one of the premium grades of white tea. It is made from the top grayish green leaves and slivery leaf buds, covered in a fine, silvery-white down. This fuzzy white appearance gives white tea its name. Triple Leaf's White Peony tea starts with high quality tea leaves and leaf buds, and then specially processes it to pack in tea bags. At $20 for six boxes, this is priced better than at my local natural foods store. I love the flavor of it plain and that it has less caffeine than black or green tea. It helped me lessen my caffeine intake. EDIT: Price changed so now it's cheaper for me to get at the store :-(

The tea I received is regular white tea NOT White Peony tea. The box and tea bags only describe white tea and make no mention of White Peony tea. The box does NOT match the photos.This is a false, misleading product - do not buy it.

Triple leaf tea has the best white tea in my opinion. It's full of antioxidants and i know this because after I drink this tea, my skin improves significantly.The package also arrived sooner than expected for me.EDIT/UPDATE: I noticed that this batch of tea (pack of 6) tastes milder than the individual packs I usually buy from the stores. After reading the ingredients, I realized that the tea I bought here (no Amazon) contains only white tea leaves, and the one from the stores contain tea leaves AND buds. Sucks, because I had to go back and repurchase from the store.

This is a consistently good tea the quality is consistent. I always use white tea with all the other teas I drink because it adds something to the robustness of my tea time. Also white is even better the green as an anti carcinogenic drink.

I met a breast cancer survivor who is in remission. She raved about this tea's impact on her immune system and helping her to lose weight. Relying on her recommendation, I bought a box. Great price, great tasting tea (in my opinion) and fast shipping. I like the flavor and I hope it's doing what the lady who recommended it says it will do I will order more when my supply runs out!

I read many reviews about this tea and decided I would give it a goI was not disappointedI bought a case and was pleased with the price, the delivery and most of allTHE TEAI am not a great fan of Green Tea, but this is very palatableand as some other reviewer said "use the bag more than once"It really retains its flavor

Once I learned that green tea was extremely healthy for you I began drinking Lipton an other store brands. White tea is a stronger form of green tea. Once I tried Triple Leaf Tea, (Tea Bags, White Peony Tea), I found it to be stronger and healthier. It's the only type of tea I want to drink. I also don't add sugar, which would take away from the health benefits. I highly recommend it.

Triple leaf makes the best white tea hands down. I swear this stuff cures me of any cold or flu (just drink a few cups a day when you start to feel something coming on). Also, I read studies that show white tea fights cavities, well guess what... I went to Dentist and had my teeth cleaned and they kept commenting on my clean teeth and how there was hardly any work for them. I'm a clean person but I dont have a great history of strong teeth. So, I was happy about that. Also, even if you dont buy Triple Leaf, just drink White Tea, ANy white tea! It has so much more in antioxidants than green tea and I know my brain function as well as health is better when I drink it daily. It also has been shown to kill bacteria such as MRSA and strep upon contact. I'm not saying if you have MRSA bathe in it, although I probably would to test it, but this is an awesome little tea!Oh yeah, Triple Leaf, I like triple leaf because of the taste, it has a sweeter taste than most white teas. You can find the tooth and bacteria info by looking up past research studies on Sciencedaily. Look at past 10years.
