Using this for the serial consoles on two Cisco devices. This was easy to setup and allows using the included blue Cisco serial cable with the RJ45 inputs. Can't ask for more than that. Although my devices are just in the garage it still makes it a lot easier to access the consoles than taking a laptop and connecting it to the serial port.

For a miniature console server, it's a pretty full-featured device. It runs linux and provides standard (and secure) reverse telnet / console access. I'm using it as a out-of-band console server for my routers/switches. Has standard RJ45 (cisco-style) pinouts so no special cables are needed (I'm just using straight-through ethernet cables). One of the ports on the box can also be used as a console port for the console server itself if necessary, which is also a nice feature.
