I bought this mouthpiece so my son could learn the Euphonium and not be using my mouthpiece. It works great for a learning child. My child prefers to use this rather than a metal one. Its not going to compare to high end mouthpiece but if your looking for a fun mouthpiece then it works well. I would buy another one for a backup.

Five stars for performance, three stars for aesthetics. My son is a musician who plays the baritone, which is an instrument that uses trombone mouthpieces. He has a nice silver mouthpiece, but we thought we’d give this red mouthpiece a try for a spare. Our son really likes it. He says it sounds good. It’s especially good for legato because it has a more rounded sound than his silver mouthpiece. His silver mouthpiece is better for staccato. The red 3-D printed plastic looks a bit silly, hence the four stars. However, it’s a perfectly good spare our son may switch in for more legato songs during performances. Especially for the $15 price tag.
