The innovative V-shaped design naturally centers the arrow using only two points of contact, eliminating side-to-side arrow movement, resulting in consistent arrow trajectory shot after shot. The Whisker Biscuit V Max’s perpendicular bristles reduce vane drag and allow the arrow to slice through the bristles with ease, maintaining velocity with every shot. This incredibly accurate and consistent arrow rest makes tuning a breeze with its advanced tool-less micro windage and elevation adjustments and convenient laser-engraved reference marks on the aluminum housing.

The micro adjustments were a huge upgrade from the rest that came on my bow. Allowed me to really dial in my set up for consistent accuracy.

Cant beat this rest , drop aways may be a tad faster, but theres nothing moving to fail when the deer of a lifetime is in front of you!

Just got my first compound bow and really like it. Didn’t like the whisker biscuit that came on my bow. The hairs were more like bristles, if I held the bow with an arrow at 90 degrees pointing down, the arrow wouldn’t fall straight through and the adjustments were quite course. The fine tuning on this one makes setting center shot easier and the arrow will fall through the hairs with minimal or any resistance. Eventually I’ll get a drop away but for now this is working fine

This is by far the best non drop away rest there is. I’d wanted to get one for a while, since the plastic biscuit that came with my bow was a bit warped/beat to hell, but ended up going with a bodoodle switchblade since those were on clearance and the V Max was priced at about $70. Bodoodle worked fine, but with my new helical fletching, the launchers were scraping the vanes on every shot. Checked back and I saw that this rest’s price had dropped by more than half so I got it immediately. Not only are my arrow’s vanes going unobstructed now, but my bow’s lighter, it looks cleaner, and my groupings have been wayyy more consistent and on the money. Massive improvement over my old biscuit and the bodoodle. Trophy Ridge absolutely nailed it on this design. The metal frame feels really durable, and the micro adjustments for elevation and windage are more precise and easy to work with than any other rest I’ve used. Had it eye-tuned in like 2 minutes, but I’ll still be getting it paper tuned ASAP.This thing is simplistic, yet innovative and extremely effective, I love it. Don’t believe all the mixed reviews, this thing’s dope. That being said, make sure you get the V Max (metal frame) model instead of the cheaper plastic ones cause I’m sure those do have some problems, as most plastic crap does.I can partially understand where some of the reviews about the bristles being too soft are coming from, but there are pros and cons to that. Less drag on your arrows so better FPS, less wear on your fletching, but after a lot of use they’ll probably not support your arrows’ weight as perfectly as they do out of the box. Bear/trophy ridge has replacement brushes for like $10 though I’m pretty sure, so that doesn’t bother me. Interested to see if the bristles can hold up my FMJ arrows, but I use carbon 90% of the time anyway.Buy it while it’s still cheap!!! I probably wouldn’t buy another one for the original $60-$70, but for under 40 bucks this thing absolutely rules.

Needed to try a new rest as my standard quick shot whisker biscuit would not allow me to tune vertically. Decided to go with the V-Max since it was micro-adjustable but still had the reliability of the whisker biscuit design. Really have not been pleased and will be replacing with a standard whisker biscuit design from another brand that allows for vertical elevation. Issues with the V-Max are below:- The entire rest moves even when locked down. The mount stays still but the actual rest wobbles. It does not seem to have impacted my accuracy, but it is loud.- It is super noisy. I cannot tell if it is the bristles or if it is the vibration from the rest moving but every shot sounds like a knife on a sharpening stone. My bow was way quieter with the original standard whisker biscuit so it is definitely this specific rest causing the noise.- The size of the allen keys needed for the micro adjust are no where to be found. It is not written in the box. It is not online. Oh, by the way, the customer service will either only tell you the size of the locking allen key (5/32) or just wont respond at all. If you try calling, you will never get past the waiting line. I cannot even use the micro adjust because I cannot figure out which allen key I need. I have the Eastman archery allen key tool and none of them fit. I have 4 different allen key sets full of all sorts of sizes and cannot find the right size. If 4 allen key sets + a archery specific one do not have the right size, then why are they using it?- Bristles aren't enough. My arrow constantly is falling between the bristles when walking with an arrow nocked. When I draw, the arrow always dips into the bristles. It almost always fixes itself at the end, but it does not inspire confidence.I see what they were going for with modernizing the whisker biscuit, but this just is not it.

Anyway, that archery hunts knows what this is. The price was better than getting it at a local archery shop adjustments are way better than the Chinese version and this one is all aluminum construction so it’s very rigid on the bow, which helps the accuracy of your shots.

It seems to be a good rest. Easy to install and the micro adjustment is great. I have put a few arrows through it and works well. However the brushes are not very stiff and my Axis arrow will drop down into the lower right brush if not careful.
