New to archery. Not a hunter, target only. Bought compound bow and everything I could get my hands on to maintain my equipment. Read articles on pros and cons on whisker biscuit & drop down arrow rests. Drop downs made more sense to me. Several days to correctly install and understand how it works. I like it. A very clean exit of arrow from bow. Limb driven rest functions smoothly, and micro adjustments are easy. Very, very nice.

I made the switch to the Trophy Taker after using a Hamskea for a couple seasons and the main reasons are getting away from the spring tension system used for the timing cord on the hamskeas and the ability to lock this one up. Not even that I will use that function all of the time, but if a spot and stalk situation presents itself it is better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it, most limb driven rests don't have this option which significantly interested me as limb driven rests are inherently more accurate than cable driven rests. I can say that installation was a breeze, I chose to use my own D-loop cord for the timing rope as the one that is supplied is fairly thin and I have had issues with those type stretching before. Micro click windage and elevation made paper tuning a breeze and it shoots great!

Shot the flip up version of this on my buddy's bow (whichever one is tied to the bowstring and requires rearward tension to raise the rest). Decided to try this version, which is tied to the limbs - seems more likely to flip down quicker and avoid contact with the arrow and/or fletching.I was a little intimidated by the limb-tied version, but it was easy enough to set up.One thing to mention is that the instructions provided could be better. The pics could be larger and instructions more clear. YouTube to the rescue, though!

This is the first arrow rest I’ve ever had break on me. I’ve been shooting since 1995. I still have a Muzzy drop-away that works! It sheared at a weak point where the plate is drilled at three points for the mounting screw. Not the easiest to tune despite the micro adjust. Hopefully the newer models improve on this design flaw.

Very accurate rest, easy to install, n quiet good damping rest on release. Note: make sure to pre-check n service to make sure that the grub screws are secured for both the micro-adjustable knobs.

Whisper quiet, easy to install, no need to question if timing is on, and easy to adjust.ONLY thing is that the cable supplied will stretch a little bit in the first 50 shots or so. Other than that, it's easier to adjust than my other ones.

Very easy to install and easily tunes. My cable driven rest (QAD) was dropping slow and contacting the fletching. Limb driven is the way to go since the rest will drop at the same rate as the limbs. And the lock up feature is great. Keeps the arrow from bouncing around when nocked and ready to draw

This product right out the box was install by a professional at my local bowie outfitters shop and while sighting in my new sight the screen head sheared off the launcher arm on the 27th shot. That particular screw isnt under any sort of tension so am at a loss as to why it broke off to begin with. I was leery at first about this product because I did see one video where a guy had one that the spring on the launcher arm side bent and wouldn't stay in place so the launcher wouldn't work properly . So, I'm returning the product and have already bought another brand and style .
