Quality-wise, it’s a durable handle. But in terms of fitment and overall internal design, it’s garbage.I compared the new handle to the one on my car, and it looked identical, so I got to work. I was able to take apart the interior panel from the door and get the old handle out with ease. When it came down to installing the new one, I started having issues.First, the cables looks more fragile compared to the OE part I had taken off. I spent maybe 45 minutes readjusting the piece to it would fit, but to no avail.I compared the two handles, and noticed that the latches (ends) of the new handle were noticeably thinner than the original, and that the handle would wobble when grabbed. Not only that, but there was a bump on it that would rub against the lock cylinder preventing it from closing flush.I then spent 15 minutes whittling the bump, so it would be able to open and close with ease. However, the wobbling was still a big issue.I had the bright idea of swapping the internals of the old and new handles(for the passive entry sensor on Nissans), but it seemed the build quality was a miss. The OEM part had a rubber seal over the handle button, whereas the TRQ handle had no seal, which meant that if water got in, it would affect it.I swapped internals as best as I could, closed it up, and hooked everything back up. Handle button still non functioning. It I could give this 0/5 stars, I would. I paid $55 for a handle that didn’t even work. I can’t return it as I’d gutted it in hopes of salvaging at least the sensor, which didn’t work. And after doing more research, Z1 Offroad(a company that works with Nissan) has the OEM build handle for $68.Not worth the money, I wasted money.

This took 15 minutes to change, all you will need to remove the door panel is some plastic trim remover tool, a Phillips head screwdriver, and some pliers to make for easy clip removal from the rods that connect to the handle.

Worked perfectly on 2002 Tacoma. Way better quality than OEM.

The original handles on my 98 Tacoma failed this year so I replaced them with the aftermarket chinesium grade ones and those failed almost instantly. The passenger side one even bent the linkage a bit so it takes more effort to open the door now.I was going to get the OEM handles but wanted an upgraded one with metal so I never have to replace it again. I’m so glad these exist! They are cheaper than the OEM part and will last an actual lifetime! Fit and finish is perfect too. They even have the peg to lock in the lock cylinder, the knockoffs don’t have that feature. So attention to detail was definitely focused on when designing the molds for this part. There’s even a couple grooves on the handle where the steel slide rubs against which aids in reducing friction and trapping grease for the lubrication to actually work. If you own a 90s-00s Toyota truck/SUV that is compatible with these handles they are an absolute MUST have. Now if only TRQ can make metal interior handles then I’ll never have to replace handles again ;)

The cabrio is a weird combination of vw parts. My drivers side door lock broke and I watched a lot of videos on repairing it. Went through a bunch of different lock Repair kits. This is the one you want for an 02 cabrio. It works great. The only downsides are: there is a slight gap on the hinge side of the handle after install and you will not be able to reuse your old cylinder so you will have 2 keys for your car. This will save you a ton of frustration and money. It works great for my 2002 cabrio.

Best Bang for the buck hands down! I went through 2 POS Dorman Handles on my 2004 Tacoma and was looking for something better as I wasn't about to pay north of $100 for the OEM Toyota Handle. This handle is quality from the word go and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade from the all Plastic versions sold like Dorman. Don't waste your money on any other seller.
