I keep my old beat up cornet in this bag. The padding is almost nonexistent. I wouldn’t trust any of my nice instruments in this bag, but for the price I can live with the lack of padding for an old beater. You should not ever drop your instrument in this bag - it provides very very little protection. Yes I am purposefully calling it a bag instead of a case. My wife has purses with more padding than this bag. It is also on the small size for a trumpet, but my long cornet fits nicely in it.

I tried two trumpets to fit in this UNCUSHIONED NOT LONG ENOUGH trumpet bag, one was a Bach Stradivarious and the other an Olds Mendez and could not zip up the bag without forcing the zipper over the horn. The return shipping label supplied by Amazon from the shipper goes to CHINA and returns only $2.74 of my $27.39 MC payment which included Tennessee tax.even though the CHINA shipper has a local LA PUENTE, CALIFORNIA RETURN ADDRESS ON THE PACKAGE RETURN STICKER. The label reads: RETURN TO: ONLY 3PL RETURN WAREHOUSE, 16468 VALLEY BLD., (BUSINESS UNRELATED 3PL WAREHOUSE), LA PUENTE, CA 91744. The return label from Amazon is printed in Chinese so I hope the Post Office can read it AND IT SAYS "POSTAGE REQUIRED" ON THE LABEL SO THE LABEL IS NOT PRE-PAID DEPITE $24.69 NOT REFUNDED?

It does the trick! It’s small, which I wanted. Zippers feel reliable and it’s plenty of protection seems how is just keep it on the shelf at home and in the backseat in my car.
