So the transmitter has a thread in male sma connector that is the complete opposite of what most antennas will connect. Trying to find a screw on female to female sma adapter is nearly impossible because nobody uses a female screw on antenna... except these guys. So hopefully the default antenna is what you want.

I've been using it for a home security system and it's been on 24/7 for a month now with no issues. Has a great channel section to avoid interference. I can't speak to transmission length as I only needed 150 through walls and such so I'd recommend purchasing "clover-leaf" style antennas for long rage communication. There is no dedicated "audio line" but actually does have a "mic" built into the transmitters pcb. Not sure of it's quality though. I really doubt that it's of any real value? But, the units are very well built and the receiver does offer two outputs, say one for recording and the other for a done pilot. Transmitter, does run "hot" at btw 125-130 degrees, so keep that in mind when mounting it (no double-sided tape). It clearly draws a fair bit of power. The receiver runs just warm. Overall, I'd recommend this unit. Nice images from it...

I purchased 2 of these units. same issues with both and interchanging the pair. And yes they work for very short range. Both transmitters are working on regulated 12VDC with less than 100mV drift. And the transmitters run extremely warm - perhaps I could fit aftermarket cooling or heat sink if I found a line of sight application less than 400mtAs in the description states "2000mt range" I was hopping for half of this considering the price being to good to be true. But line of sight (LOS) struggled to maintain signal at 450mt.The video output signal voltage does appear to run slightly high over a 75R resistor load which also explains why an older monitor I originally used for testing wouldn't work, Lucky for me the cheaper generic monitor I have with built in buffer resolved this problem.I have considered directional antennas, but I think these will be tossed in the box labelled of "crap for another day"If you are going to purchase, don't expect miracles, or even its own specifications to be close to accurate.

It is over a hundred feet from the gate to the house. I was able to get a clear signal from the camera to the receiver inside the house. I am using this as a security camera transmitter not as a FPV transmitter for a drone.

This works very well. I added it to my Flexify drone and have great video now to my tablet. I have not maxed out the distance so far and probably cannot with the range of this drone. Easy setup, easy channel change on both the tax and rx. Clear video. It get very warm but that is the norm for any of these receivers. Quality buy!

A solid package so far. Transmitter gets warm but they all seem to?, it is a rather large unit, not a good transmitter for smaller than 210.

Great system, I also ordered the recommended cloverleaf antennas. The RX and TX jacks are RP-SMA which you can see in my pictures that are attached. I haven't maxed out the distance yet, but traveled about 1 1/2 mile and didn't even have static or "snow" in my goggles image. This is very impressive because I have had much more expensive setups that couldn't do that!
