  • Made in the USA, the Texas Speed L83 Stage 3 camshaft is the next step up in line when you are ready to get serious with your Gen V 5.3L powered truck or SUV. This updated V2 version features redesigned lobes that make more power despite having less lift than the previous version.
  • Not only will the new version be easier on the valve springs but the valvetrain noise will be much quieter too! This camshaft is a great choice for the enthusiast looking for maximum horsepower and a Hard Chop! A 2800+rpm torque converter will be required for this camshaft.
  • Each Gen 5 L83 camshaft Texas Speed offers will require the use of a phaser limiter kit. The phaser limiter restricts the range of cam timing movement. This modification provides the necessary valve clearance for serious performance camshafts with added duration and tighter lobe separations.
  • NOTE: The L83 Stage 3 camshaft requires a DOD/AFM lifter delete, and a VVT Phaser limiter block is necessary to maintain proper piston to valve clearance.


Texas Speed 6.2L LT1 Stage 2 Camshaft V2 Fits 2014-2021 6.2L Gen V LT1 Engines Specs: 227/242 .646"/.631" 112 LSA, +32% Fuel Lobe Texas Speed's LT1 Stage 2 V2 camshaft is a great choice for the enthusiast looking for an additional jump in horsepower and idle sound over the Stage 1 offering. It will have a good lope at idle while still being able to be daily driven with an appropriate stall converter or a manual transmission. A 2800+rpm torque converter is recommended for automatic applications. Each Gen 5 camshaft Texas Speed offers will require the use of a phaser limiter kit.
