My 4 year old wears orthotics and I’ve struggled for a while to find quality sneakers that accommodate them. I’ve tried major brands like See Kai, New Balance, and Billy. While they were all good, I found myself having to purchase new pairs every couple months. With Taukihoshi, I found what I was looking for. When you remove the insole is fits his orthotics perfectly. Where I once struggled to get his foot into a sneaker I now effortlessly slide his foot right in. The large opening and wider shoe is a huge help. The quality of the sneaker is also a huge plus. They definitely stand up to the wear and tear of playing outdoors daily. You also get a stylish shoe. I know the price point is a little high, but I’m not having to replace them as frequently as other brands. Would recommend to other parents.

They hold up during learning to walk, learning to run, and now hard play. Each pair looked brand new after washing, the quality is clearly high. they fit amazingly. My child has a chunky foot with a skinny heel and these fit perfectly. Great support, and around 22 months she could put them on (usually) by herself or with little assistance. They're flexible and have a cute toe guard. Not too big and it flows well with the shoes design. Plus, they are very cute!

Tsukihoshis continue to be my son's favorite shoe. I've tried many brands but my boy prefers these. Every other shoe for the same price just isn't as good. Light, flexible, durable. Stays on feet very well.

These shoes are the best! My son is really hard on his shoes and these have held up way better than others similarly priced or even more expensive. They run big in my opinion. I would consider sizing down .5-1 sizes. I was buying light up shoes and my son accepted these as an alternative and feels they help him run really fast. 😂 Don't wait on these shoes! They're so good!

We’ve bought a number of shoes from this brand and they hold up well. These are light weight and perhaps not as sturdy as some others but seem very comfortable for my son snd are holding up well after 2 months of frequent wear. Plus nice colors and stylish!

This has been a great brand for us in the past but this new style is horrible. Soles peeling off after 2 weeks of normal wear.

This is the perfect shoe for my 6-year-old girl. She is obsessed with comfort, and these are super light weigh, comfy, and easy to put on with the velcro (no laces to drag and get dirty). The color is also awesome right now, as it compliments all the natural pink in her wardrobe, that is currently all the rage right now. Great price too for a quality sneaker.
