Edit:Worked for 1 day 😑. My son went to ride 3 days later and it's got starting issues again. It leaks from the float bowl nipple. I'm going to try all the adjustments but it should have lasted more than one riding sessionEdit#2 I got the bike running but I had to run the fuel screw out 4 turns from fully tight. This indicates to me that the jet needs to be bigger. It starts while hot easily but I haven't been able to test a cold start with the new adjustmentsI didn't even adjust it just installed and it started on the 1st kick!!! Oem fit and easy install. I guided my 15 year old gamer through the install. I had an authentic mikuni vm24 jetted exactly how mikuni prescribed for sea level with stock everything and it gave me starting issues. This cheap carb got the bike running smooth and reliable again! The kit comes with everything you need plus extras. ⁸10/10 absolutely recommend.

Installed on a 2004 Yamaha TTR125. Appears to be an exact copy of the OEM Mikuni. Had to adjust the float height ever so slightly, but bike seems happy with it.

So we have lots of bikes and I've always been a OEM or nothing guy because I just don't want to waste time with junk. With that said, over the last year or so I've been trying more and more aftermarket carbs, sometimes because they can get here faster, are cheap, and sometimes its just for troubleshooting. I've been very impressed lately and decided to try once again a carb for this TTR125 I just picked up for my son. The carb came quickly and came with the petcock which I also needed. Seems well built and I expect it to last. I gave four stars for ease of install only because it came with NO instructions and I had the guess on the vent lines a bit since this carb was quite a bit different from the OEM one. At any rate, I installed it and didn't adjust the idle or fuel screw whatsoever and the bike started immediately. Idled a bit low for a second or two and then after a few minutes I did drop the idle slightly but that was it.I'm impressed!

Fit good but had to use screw on cable connection off of old one as the pipe was to long Once figured that out it worked perfectly

I installed this on my 03 TTR 125, bike started right up. Then after storage for a month (with the petcock turned off), I noticed that the overflow tube was leaking gas after turning it on. Odd for a brand new carb. This was paired with a “only runs on choke” situation. I watched so many carb tuning videos trying to get this to run. Adjusted the float to stop the overflow, but the darn thing would die whenever I turned off the choke. Only had this carb for a few months before I replaced it with a vm24 clone.

This worked perfectly. Time will tell how it holds up, but it fit perfect. I did not adjust anything. I installed it, put fresh gas in the tank, and kicked it one time. Idles perfectly, and runs wide open or anywhere in between without issue. For the price, if it doesn't hold up very long, I'll just slap another one on and keep on rolling. It's quicker, easier, and probably cheaper to replace the whole assembly than to do a carb job. I've read about people having issues with these, but on my kids TTR125, it runs as good or better than it ever did with the stock carb. You may need to drill a slightly bigger hole for for the throttle cable to attach to the cap, Otherwise, it's plug and play. Just my 2 cents. Good luck. I recommend this option.

Unreal. I've fiddled with my son's Mikuni on his TTR and for whatever reason (after countless jetting changes, float adjustments, needle adjustments, coasting enrichment circuit cleanings, etc..), I haven't been able to get it running smooth. One day I noticed a small leak from the petcock. Found this link and decided to buy both petcock and carb on a whim. Got it today and in 20 mins had it installed along with the new petcock. With absolutely no adjustments, the bike runs Perfect! Mind-blowing!! I can't believe that a inexpensive Chinese carb fixed this thing. I was speechless and inspired to write a review.
