This product is not for outdoor use at all and the lid will crack and leak. I bought 3 of them to hold different feeds last summer and now all 3 of the lids are cracked on the top just from weather, not abuse. It rained last night and now I have 35 pounds of cracked corn absolutely soaked and will mold quickly. Maybe this product would be fine for indoor use but I'd absolutely avoid it if your plan is to set it outside.

If you used it only inside with climate control it’d be fine. The point is to be able to leave it outside or in the barn but the material doesn’t withstand the elements or temperature changes. The top cracks and the locking tabs snap off. And in the sun, it acts like a greenhouse and grain gets wet and moldy. I know that’s just the way the world works, but something to be aware of if you considering this product.

This is heavy duty and the locking lid keeps pests out.

We had it for 2 days and a rat chewed straight through the plastic and ate all the feed

Has a great lid I used it as a chicken water setup because I wanted enough water to last 5-7 days
