Great hook! Love the grip, it's very smooth, almost never catches. Pretty expensive, but worth it. I'd get a whole pack if it wasn't 100$ 😅

Very smooth, easy to use. Doesn’t catch on yarn. These are my favorite brand and I am slowly collecting all sizes.

Tulip makes really good crochet hooks. They are comfortable to handle and make crocheting easier and smoother. After I purchased this one, I bought another size, and I plan on adding more to my collection.

After several years of crocheting with Clover brand hooks, I wanted to see the difference between them and the Tulip brand. I just got it today and at first glance, it looks almost exactly like my Clover. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the head is a little more angled, whereas the Clover is a little shorter in the curved hook part. While still ergonomic, the handle is thinner and has an indention for the tip of your thumb which doesn't bother me. The hook glides through the yarn exactly like the Clover brand so you have zero dragging or pulling. The big question - would I invest close to $100 for an entire set? No. Am I upset I spent $9 on a hook I'm not in love with? Nah. I prefer the thicker handle of the Clover which works best for my arthritic hands. I have three of everything in the Clover brand, but I'll keep the Tulip in case I want to change it up or see if I experience any epic relief on a big project with the smaller handle. It all boils down to personal preference and comfort.

When I first caught the eye of the Tulip Etimo Rose Crochet Hook set in the ostrich pink carrier case w/accessories I was HOOKED! However I needed to think it thru due to the price because it was a WANT & not a NEED. I already owned my set of CLOVER Amour steel crochet hooks and loved them. I couldn't stop thinking about the set so I thought I'll purchase one hook & if I like it I start saving for the set. Well the first time I used it I was blown away by the ease and control I had. It glided thru the different yarn fibers with ease & my wrists and elbows are not as in pain. Needless to say I couldn't stop at one hook. Bought 6 more.

Für mich einfach die besten Häkelnadeln. Schöne glatte Spitze und gleitet super durchs Garn. Es kommen keine anderen mehr in Frage.

I have been crocheting for about 18 years. I have a collection of in-line hooks which I learned with. I decided to branch out and after looking at many, chose to buy two sizes I use most often of Tulip individual hooks. I LOVE these! Feel wonderful, light, and super glide with the yarn. The Rose Tulip set now resides on my Christmas Wish List! Amazing crochet hooks that make a difference!

The tulip hooks are my all time favorite. I swear! It was a game changer when I found these hooks.I learned how to crochet with cheap hooks I got on amazon by the set! You know, 12 hooks for 20 bucks or something? When I saw these ones for 10 bucks each I was like whaaat? Are they made of gold????? LolI just couldn’t imagine how something so simple as a crochet hook could cost so much. And why? How different could it be, right?!OMG 😳 was so naive. I got my first tulip hook out of curiosity because I needed to see what was different about it.Everything IMO.EVERYTHINGIt’s so comfortable to hold, even more so than other ergonomic handles. And it’s so smooth! Love it so much.It def changed my beginners crochet hook.I completely understood why it’s more expensive and yes! The tools you use do make a difference sometimes. For me, being a beginner it def made a difference. My stitches looked so much better. It was also easier to maintain a constant tension.I now have most sizes (that I use the most (from 2.5mm to 7mm they are the only hooks I reach for.The clover ones are very similar but still I prefer these. My only complaint is that the handles are very delicious to teething puppies. 😂😂😂My 7 month old Maltese ate the handle of my 5mm when I was distracted that’s why I had to buy a new one. LolUpdate: the new hook I bought never arrived. Amazon refunded it, which is good but so frustrating.

I absolutely love this hook and I can't believe I even considered returning it. It's very comfortable and sooooo smooth!! I've tried EpicBelle ergonomic hooks (which have the "cushion" on the handle), Susan Bates aluminum and crystalites acryclic hooks, The Crochet Dude's aluminum hooks and Boye aluminum hooks (all with no cushion/ergonomic handles). I didn't think I would like hooks with cushioned handles after my experience with EpicBelle's, especially because the shafts of those hooks were so short and it took me a while to get used to. But I was really curious about Tulip's Etimo Rose line so I ordered this one. Initially, I'd packed this hook up to return because it didn't seem to work well for me. Boy was I wrong! I sat down to try it again and now I can't put it down! I have not been able to work this fast and this well with any of the other hooks. The yarn goes over this hook so smoothly, it's crazy! I get my projects done is much less time. I usually feel a little pain or slight cramping in my hands when I work with other hooks, but never with this one.I've been using this for two weeks and I have not found any cons! I have to point out that I'm still relatively new to crocheting. I learned the basic chain when I was 8 (23 years ago) and I chained my little heart out for about a year or two and I just picked it back up a couple months ago; so I can't say that there aren't better hooks out there. Someone with way more experience may know what to look for and what may be better, but for me so far, it doesn't get any better than this and I definitely think they're worth a try. I haven't been able to find these in my local craft stores (Jo Ann, Michael's, A.C. Moore and Hobby Lobby). Jo Ann has them online, but I always prefer Amazon if I'm ordering online because their shipping and returning processes are so quick and easy.
