Your cart is empty. This version of the Zebra Midge uses a Tungsten Bead Head to really get this down into the proper depth quicker than brass, glass or non beaded midges.
This is a great imitation of a Chironomid. There are a lot of colors of these insects from black, red, brown, tan, green and cream colored. When fish are keying on midges, you might want to have several different colors and types. They are great to fish in a dual dropper system to test what colors or sizes the fish want.

Not the cleanest construction and you know fish can be discerning, but for the price they are functional for the amateur/novice fly fisherman.

They seem like carefully crafted flies. It amazed me to see how small they were when I unboxed them. I have them in this fly box in the upper right corner. Definitely tied with tungsten beads. Soaked with some sink, these suckers decend pretty fast.
