This is basically a hockey puck with a nice om sign printed on it. One reviewer said that om was printed incorrectly, but I researched the issue and found that both spellings of om seem to be used so this one is also acceptable. (I’m referring to the curve at the top right). Good to know! The price is reasonable. This is very functional: instead of hitting the tuning fork on a bone like the knee or elbow, you use this “activator”. In the past I purchased a hockey puck for this purpose. This is the same material. Sound quality is good as the material is dense and allows for good resonance from the fork. No big problems with this at all. 4 stars instead of 5 as I’d rather not have “tuning fork activator” printed with the om.This is personal taste, and otherwise I love the gadget!

Looks like a hockey puck. Works fine. The design is cool, but not really the ohm symbol.

This tuning fork activator was ordered to use with a few different tuning forks I have in my collection. I also have one other tuning fork activator that I use.This is a nice little round puck style pad that has a good density for striking a tuning fork on.There is an issue with the Ohm symbol that is printed on it. The top curve of the symbol should be curved upward “smile”, but it is curved downward “frown”. I think this may have been a design mistake that made it to production?Regardless, it still does work for its intended purpose.

This thing definitely works! It made my inexpensive sounding fork set sound even better than it did when I used the tool that came with them. HOWEVER, it has a very VERY strong chemical smell that has yet to go away and I've had it airing out for weeks now. It looks like a hockey puck so I'm curious if this is what hockey pucks smell like when they come out of the factory they're made in haha. I store the piece far far away from any easily smelling areas since the strong chemical smell gives me an instant headache.

This is a review of Tuning Fork Activator, works on all frequencies Brand: KAIGESZADThough I have a small mallet, I ordered this puck because it has more surface area, which means so I don’t have to great accuracy when I strike to activate the tuning fork. I wish the works “tuning fork activator” were not on it. An ‘om’ symbol by itself would be better. However, I am no longer sure that it is an ‘om’ symbol — when I ordered the activator, I thought it said ‘om’. But after looking more closely, I see that one of the elements in the design is different than in all the ‘om’ symbols I have ever seen. The short curve separating the dot from the large symbol is upside down — it curves toward the large symbol rather than away from it. I wish the listing would tell me what this symbol means. I googled to find the answer, but could not find what the symbol means with that curve facing the wrong direction. This is troubling. Though this product works, there are other activators out there with the om symbol printed correctly. So I cannot recommend this one.

Works really well with my tuning forks, thick and heavy like a hockey puck. Kind of wish it didn't say "tuning fork activator" on it because, well, I know what it is, I bought it.

This puck work great for my non-weighted tuning forks. It compares well to my other puck. This is of a nice weight and feel. Activates my tuning forks with one hit. My only complaint would be the smell. The odor is very strong. Hoping this wears off in time.
