This is one that's worth the money. It really throws out heat. It's very realistic looking on or off. I had a faulty remote but customer service got right on it and sent me an updated one. I'm happy with the product and service. After seeing how well the first one worked, I bought another one for the other end of the house. I just put in on the shelf part of my armoir. I hope they last a long time! Before I forget the noise level is barely noticeable and not at all if you have a tv going. Measure where you want it and it's light weight to just put in rhe spot and plug it in to a 3 prong outlet!

One of the best products my fiancée bought me! So beautiful to watch and the heat output is perfect for cool nights!! Size is perfect for an insert to a fireplace.

This went into what was originally a wood burning fireplace turned outdated gas insert fireplace. The logs look great and heat our great room wonderfully. The fan does have a sound to it but the functionality of the heater and look of the logs far outweigh that.

I love this product! I love the way it throws out heat and I especially love the way it looks. I do not find that it is noisy, just a bit of a hum. My only concern is that NO WHERE in the advertisement does it say that you can not use a heavy duty extension cord with this heater. I ordered a new heavy duty extension cord because I knew the cord would not be long enough to reach any of my outlets. The first I read anything about this was when I was reading the warranty that comes with the heater and it said you absolutely can not plug it into anything but the wall outlet. I called customer support and was told that if I use a 15 amp, 1800 wattage extension cord I can probably use it but only for short time periods. They said they do not stand behind it and do not recommend using them. I never read any of these reviews that said that was a problem so I assume everyone else can reach the 6 ft cord to an outlet which also must be on the left of the heater if you are facing, it because that is where the cord is located.I am now debating if I should return the heater or try to use an extension cord and hope it is ok!!After having the heater about a week, I decided to use the extension cord because according to the specifications....it had more than enough Amp and wattage and so on to handle this heater. I had it on for 4 hours one afternoon and decided to feel the plug to see if it was hot! To my dismay......it was very hot and the plug was beginning to discolor!!! I will be calling an electrician to see what can be done and how much it will cost to do it. Maybe there is such a thing as an even heavier appl. extension????I am writing all of this to inform a future buyer that this is something you need to check out before purchasing. But, maybe you are smarter and more aware than I was!!

if you want a simple review... GET IT! there, simple done... in detail this is great for many reasons. it plugs in to an outlet with ease, and as long as you dont overload the outlet you will be in good shape. the logs look great at a distance and up-close. the remote is your phone and the interface is super easy and when you turn it off it saves your settings and when you turn it back on they are back on. the heat output isnt super high compared to others i have had but this one looks beautiful, and is so easy to use. the multiple flams colors are fun but the traditional orange is my favorite and the light crackling in the background i grew to love. you can set up auto features to have it turn on at a certain time and off at a certain time or after a number of hours. and yes, it can be turned on or off anywhere as long as the unit is on the home wifi system, i can turn it on at work before i leave so i can come home to the cozy glow. i do wonder if the heater is not working right for mine because its warm but really doesn't heat the room up as well as i had hoped but like i said, i still love it. definitely still a 5 star review even after the down falls.

We recently found out that the fireplace in the house we bought a year ago is not up to code, and would be quite expensive to fix. We don’t really have the money or time to make is a useable fireplace, or to put an electric/gas insert in at the moment. We decided to get one of these, and we were lucky enough to get one super cheap as we decided to go for a used one. It’s not the best quality of a fake fire out there, but it can’t be beat for the price we paid and it looks much nicer than the empty dark hole of a fireplace. It definitely makes the room feel so much cozier.

This review is for the Turbro EF23-PB fireplace logs. This is a very good product and I believe a good value if you have realistic expectations. This is not going to look exactly like burning logs and it is not going to heat your home. I bought this for my living room fireplace. My living room is very large. I didn't buy this with the expectation that it would heat my living room, I just wanted it to provide some supplemental heat and that is what it does. My dogs sleep in front of the fireplace and they love the extra warmth. If you stare directly at it, it is not going to fool anyone but in the background it provides a very nice ambiance and gives you the impression that there is a fire going. And it does this at a very reasonable price. I am very happy with my purchase.When the logs arrived the remote didn't work. I contracted Turbro support. The responded the next day. The asked me to try a couple things and it still didn't work. They requested some additional information and said that they would ship a new remote but they they were on back order and it would take 1 to 2 weeks. Three weeks later the new remote was delivered (shipping took a week as it was coming from China). The new remote works fine. All responses from support were within a day and I was notified with shipping information. I would have preferred that everything work right out of the box but since it didn't I am very satisficed with the support I received.
