Have a 10x12 greenhouse in zone 7b. It gets really cold, 28 degrees, some nights. This has helped keep it about 10 degrees warmer, protecting our cold sensitive plants. My wife loves it.

Appareil a fonctionné 3 mois, bris de la fan, en attente d'un retour du fabricant. Sinon, j'étais satisfais du produit dans l'ensemble.

I did not spend the extra for a thermostat controlled heater. Instead, I bought a 24 hour timer. It allows you to control on and off which worked well and only cost 12.00. I used this for cathouses and the cats were too hot, so it worked well. I adjusted to 1 hour on, 30 min off. In very cold weather I just switch to allow constant heat instead of using the timed feature. At 400 watts the cathouses are staying around 60 degrees which the cats are happy with.

The thermostat doesn't keep the temperature where you set it. I had it set on the lowest setting, it was up to 95° and still wasn't kicking it off.

We have this in the 10 X 10 shed we use for a doghouse in the pen that our dogs are in during the day. We don't take them outside until the temp is above freezing but its still pretty cold out. We run this heater 12 hours on cold days and the dogs stay nice and warm, plus it keeps their water from freezing overnight! We've never had an issue with them chewing the cord and we have it mounted about 2 ft high.

Needed this product to work for a small area, noticed I kept getting the EF error when trying to turn on. The EF in the manual says over heating but I never used the product so when I contacted customer service they told me that the heater does not work in temperature below 5 degrees F. which defeats the purpose of me buying this product.

I use this in my 140 sq ft chicken house (not a coop, but large walk-in shed.) I'm not trying to keep it warm in there, just above freezing, so one is enough even for this larger than a doghouse space. The only thing I don't like is the temperature range (70° - 115°), who wants to heat any space to 115°??? The temperature of the air coming out is the same regardless of the setting so I have to assume this is a thermostat setting. It would be nice if I could just set it to 40° and leave it. Even for a dog, 70 is too warm. It has a timer, but how do you know how long to set it for? A thermostat with a reasonable range would be better. I love that I can check the temperature in there and turn it on and off from anywhere through my phone. The only other complaint is that it says to clean the filter periodically, but there's no obvious way to get to it. I will probably just use compressed air to clean it.

I chose this heater because it actually blows hot air versus a mat or other heater that uses ambient temperature. We have cold winters and 2 indoor/outdoor dogs who are not acclimated to stay outdoors 100% of the time. So I wanted them to have the option for a warm place if they so choose. It has 2 temperature options which I like so it can be used with varying outdoor temperatures. It does not have an auto feature but I believe you can buy a separate non-affiliated accessory that will kick it on once the outside temperature reaches a certain degree. It was very easy to install. During the winter, I covered the dog house and door with a thermal blanket. Occasionally, I would reach in to see how it compared to the outdoor temperature and it was very warm! Definitely warm enough for doggies with fur. We had no issues running it for days at a time. I would highly recommend.

In general I like this product, however I don’t like that you can’t set the temperature lower than 70 degrees. That is way too warm for the chicken coop. Also I don’t like that the timer can only be set for hours at a time instead of certain times of the day. I constantly have to check the temperature. As for easy clean filter, not so much, you have to unscrew the unit from the wall to clean it then screw it back on the wall.

We have feral cats in our neighborhood and we do our best to give them shelter and food. We set up an area with beds, food and water (heated water bowls) and this heater. It has been a Godsend right now. Temps are dropping and they're snuggled in staying warm.
