What harm can a little dust do?
By the time you see that fine layer of dust on top of your turntable, you can be certain at least 3 times that amount of dust has been sucked in thru the vents and holes outside, settling into its internal components that are used to run it. While you can wipe that dust on top away, the dust inside just keeps building up in a thickening layer and sticking to the electronics inside by static charge. As it builds, it will definitely become dangerous -- causing your turntable to run at high temperatures, and by then, the damage will be done. Overheating is the actual "cause of death" in most electronics.
In addition, dust accumulation is very damaging for the sound of turntables; the last thing you want is for a lot of dust to collect in your slipmat, cartridge, or stylus, then making its way onto to your records while playing.

Fits over the turntable nicely. Light and well formed, but can be folded flat to take up less room when not in use. Keeps the dust off as designed.

The bang for your buck, so so.For a simple piece of material, NOT SO. but the cut was right on. Shame they couldn't make a very simple frame for it. I ended up doing so with a couple extra metal hangers. But it's crude...Just kept telling myself, the shape and cut were right on!!!

ordered this to protect my rather obscure (Pro-ject 6.1 TT). It fits perfectly. I`ve only had it two days sodurability remains to be seen. However initially quality appears to be good.
