These are very good quality and the first socks that truly fit my husband. They went over his stocky calves and clear to the knee with room to fold. He is 6'3" and with a 14 wide shoe is hard to fit. The XXL worked so well.

Even though the socks I ordered were described as off- white, they are pictured as thin, white unimpressive socks, especially considering they are to be worn with a kilt. I couldn’t be more pleased with these great, substantial, ivory colored, richly patterned, thick wool socks. I’ve paid 3 times as much for other kilt socks from an exclusive kilt shop.Beautiful socks at a great value.

Finding socks for me is very difficult. I wear a size 16 6e shoe and usually socks are way too small. I found the 2xl of this one too large. the heel of the sock went past my heel and the sock went all the way up to my knees. They are very well made and look great, I am getting a smaller size for better fit.

I like these better than wool sports socks or womens knee highs. For me as a woman with size 10.5 shoe, the foot is a bit loose, but ok. I love that they come well up to my knee and can fold over if I wanted a cuff, they stay up well, are not tight, and are so thick and warm. I like them under my uniform pants for work.

Right out of the package I immediately noticed pulled threading, which I have in the photo. I thought it might be loose threads that needed trimming, but they are loops in the weave. If I want short on time, I might consider exchanging. Instead I'll deal with the loose threads and see if they work themselves out after wearing for a bit.Otherwise the quality seems good. The thickness and density feel good. My shoe size is 15(US), and the XXL covered my calf appropriately, with plenty to fold over. Feels tight enough to hold, but not strangle my leg.

Not only did they arrive on time, the socks were and are absolutely beautifully made, with a subtle pattern at the top. The length is fine, albeit a tiny bit short but not enough to warrant going a size up, taking the chance of the heel being too much fabric. Excellent company!
