I like this mount. The suction cup is strong, and stays in place. (I moisten the surface of the suction cup so it has better staying power). The adjustments also stay in place when tightened. There are enough adjustments to enable you to position the radio where you want it.I tried this on my Retevis, Baofeng, and Motorola XPR 7550 HT's, (I own all three), and the belt clips fit nicely. The Motorola belt clip is a little snug when sliding it in or out of the mount, but not bad. There are probably other brands of radio and scanner radios that will work with this mount. My personal preference is to attach this to the driver side window rather than the windshield, because it is easier to reach, and view the radio screen, but that will vary depending on the vehicle.

The mount keeps moving even if you tighten it

Was initially skeptical of the quality as it is entirely plastic and low cost. However it has now done an entire season holding radios without any sings of wear. Definitely would buy again for the price.

It's a little difficult to get everything tightened up as much as I'd like, but it's pretty good in comparison to some other window mounts I've had. It's adjustable enough to come up with a proper up/down, left/right, and rotational angle, but getting the plastic stop nut tight in conjunction with the belt-clip bracket can be a challenge. If you've got a clean window and you make sure the suction cup is clean as well, then this seems to have pretty solid grip on the glass.I haven't really experienced it, but obviously a heavier object would be more likely to cause the pivots to move round or pull the suction cup off the glass. It works fine for smaller radios like a Retevis or smaller Baofeng, and a heavier Radioddity has been fine so far as well. I suppose really hot weather, sunshine, or really cold weather could affect the suction though.I'm pretty happy with it so far. I keep one in my truck, and I'll likely get another one for my office at some point.
