I have done a a lot of cross stitch projects and was excited to do this one but I had to return this one because pattern was black and white, and details were really small. It made it really hard to follow. If you have 20/20 vision, you should be okay.

UDPATE:Finished the kit. Took about 5 weeks of work and very happy with how it turned out. However I did run out of the black thread and lost a lot of thread to the shredding problem. I was worried I'd not have enough to finish with some of the colors, but thankfully they did include plenty of thread for all the colors except black, which I already had extra on hand. So all-in-all the design was great and fun to complete, but was disappointed that the quality of the floss wasn't better.I'm about 40% done with completing this kit. I really like the pattern, the instructions are good and I'm enjoying stitching it out. My only complaint is that I'm having a lot of trouble with the floss shredding as I work. It is really annoying and happens frequently, even when using shorter lengths of floss. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars... instructions include information on how to order more thread if you run out. I'm glad, because I'm a bit worried that I've had to trash too much floss due to the problem with it splitting and shredding.

The Cross Stitch itself - 4 starsPros* Floss is presorted* Directions are charted on 2 pieces of paper so it's easier to readCons* The fabric feels cheap. It's very crisp and almost unbendable Aida. I've used many kits but this, to me, is sub-par Aida cloth. The cloth also had a flaw in it (in the middle of the fabric nonetheless).* The chart does not have the darker grid lines to separate 10 square sections. That means I will be doing a lot of counting to complete* The included floss "may or may not be DMC". If you're going to make a kit, please just use DMC.The UGLY -When the package arrived the outside looked great. But inside, the clear plastic package for the kit was filthy - like it had been lying on a floor and was trampled over a thousand times. The instructions and display picture were even crumpled. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a kit from Amazon. I got one that looks like it had been opened, returned, and then left on the floor to die a miserable death. The fabric was even mildly dirty. I would have returned the entire thing had I liked the cloth enough to want to use it. Very disappointed in Amazon and will not be buying another kit from them. Dirty is worthless when it comes to this kind of stuff.

There were colors missing from the pack. I will have to go out and buy what is missing.

I bought this because I love to cross stitch, and I am making a quilt. All of the squares on the quilt will have something to do with Christ, and will be cross stiched by me. This product is wonderful! It is large, the instructions are clear, all the pieces are there, and it came well packaged and arrived early! If you like to cross stitch, then this would be a great buy for you!
