Look closely at the wire stripper package and stripper. Package says up to 10Awg but strippers themselves only go to 12Awg. Useless for the 10awg wire that was shipped. Someone is pulling a fast one on you.

I purchased this product with the two mated wires or is this the description calls "it twin wires". I was looking for the paired wires to minimize the inductance of the circuit from the solar panels to my power unit. The cables will function although I now have to tape the wires together about every 18 inches to try to achieve what I thought I was purchasing the cable for. The text of the description of the product Maybe do to bed translation from Chinese to American English, this is something that should be looked at by someone who has an electrical background. Lastly there was no manufacturer ID on the product or on the packaging, it was a white and clear Ziploc bag with only Amazon's location sticker. As a result I cannot tell you if this is fentech, HQST or who the manufacturer is? It would be nice if the manufacturer took pride in the product to at least put their name on it.

It always seemed that my portable solar panel cable was just a little too short and always streched to the limit to place it in full sun. This six foot extension is the perdect addition. I wanted to keep the cables as short as possible in a setup like mine and this will work fine.The quality seems very good and it connected up with my existing cable very easily. I have always worked without the special tools, but they were included in the package and made connection and disconnection much smoother. A pair of extra MC4 solar connectors are included as well in case those are needed for your particular installation.Overall, I am impressed with the cable and added tools and parts. The 10 AWG wire size exceeds my needs as well. I only needed the 6-foot length for my RV, but I would not hesitate purchasing any of the other longer lengths either based on this 6-foot version.

My wife and I just bought a new camper and we plan to do some boondocking off-grid. A solar panel array of some kind is a must. I have a portable solar panel that I use, but am a bit worried that the cord that came with the panel will not always reach beyond the shade into the sun. These extension cords will fit the bill. They are every bit as durable as the cord that came with the panels and the MC4 connectors and the 10AWG wires are made of heavy-duty materials. They are rated to stand up to harsh weather and hot sun. Extra connectors did not come with my order, but as well as these cables are built, I do not think I will need them. These are solid cords at a reasonable price.
