Delivered fast two taps and it was on the plug.it gripped tight and didnt slip at all. Used the breaker bar and it was loose in seconds. So fast and cheap fix and ready for the next time one of the oil monkeys strip head on the drain plug.Dont know what they use to mangle them at the dealership. The car comes w a 14mm i changed it to a better quality 16 mm drain plug. Bigger is better if they are cranking on it.

Absolute garbage. Stripped immediately and didn’t do a thing to my lock nut, stuck sitting here for actual working parts.Do not buy this. Go to a reputable auto parts store.

Do not waste your time and money trying this specific product. The teeth rounded over on the first lug nut I attempted to remove with this set.The set came in a timely manner and visibly appearing to have quality but they will not handle any sort of hardened metal.

I purchased this socket extractor set to remove a vey stubborn 02 sensor whose removal nut flange had already twisted, I had already cut the wire t to allow for a 6 point socket to remove, but could not without the socket twisting off first. There was not room to hammer on a smaller socket. The 22 mmm included in this kit, attached to an extra long "1/2 breaker bar, and the force of my leg broke the sensor loose. I did not even need to use a use torch, I had drove the vehicle for about 20 min first to heat things up. If it was not for the reverse cut flanges in the socket that are meant to grip tighter the harder it is pulled/pushed, this socket would have stripped the flange more. It saved me a trip to the local shop and was well worth the money. I have worked a heavy equipment mechanic and have maintained my own vehicles long before O2 sensor have been in popular use. This was one of the most useful tools I have purchased, I did not find the steel to be to "soft" and it was strong enough to do the job.

Inexpensive and works. Not much else to say!I had the best success using a plastic mallet to get these sockets to stay on the wheel locks, then just stab a breaker bar in and give 'em hell.I never had to use the little driver that comes in the set; I just stuck my ball-detent-type ratchet with a push-button release and hit the handle of the ratchet to pull the socket off the wheel lock after it came loose, then took the lock off the rest of the way by hand. There was minimal damage to the socket I used, but I doubt you'll get a ton of uses out of these before the points round off and they won't be able to dig in any more. Still, they were worth it.
