Have you ever received an ink sample and you just can't get that last little bit? The little plastic bit will be your new best friend. The screw top says it's for the TWSBI diamond series fountains, but I've filled quite a few ink converters with that part as well. Bonus that it looks nice on my desk.

It's a must have if you have any refillable non capsule based twisbi pens. It feels nice and heavy takes any ink and a twisbi pen snaps right onto it but it also comes with an adapter so it works with non twisbi pens as well, overall I love the look of it and my desk would not be complete without a couple.

Ich habe das Glas gekauft weil es viel Fassungsvermögen hat und ich auch den 580er nutze. Allerdings stimmt es nicht, dass man damit alle möglichen Konverter befüllen kann. Bei den von mir getesteten (Diplomat, Kaweco) funktionierte es nicht, trotz mehrerer Versuche. Für den 580 ist es aber gut. Der Edelstahl sieht gut aus und wirkt wertig. Das Glas allerdings fühlt sich irgendwie komisch an. Irgendwie als wäre es eher Kunststoff, was ich aber wiederum ausschließen kann.

Expensive? Yeah.Worth it? Absolutely.If you use fountain pens and refill converters from bottled ink, then you know the drill... Insert the nib and feed into the bottle, push out existing ink, and draw in new ink. All the while doing your best to not have an "ink-cident" from residual ink on the nib and feed or from knocking over the bottle of ink. And you likely have a wad of paper towels or napkins handy for cleanup.This bottle eliminates that cumbersome process for a variety of TWSBI pens that directly fit and any fountain pen converter that mates to the nipple in the lid as well.And if you do not have a pen that fits onto the nipple, fear not. TWSBI includes a feeder cup for doing a better job of filling pens that do not fit. Simply inserts into the bottle and gives you a nice fill (although you'll need a paper towel for cleanup of the nib & feed).Plus, the flared bottom helps prevent tipping the bottle and having an "ink-cident".Overall quality is good. Hefty bottle (not sure if glass or acrylic) and machining of the caps is decent. Garners quite a few compliments sitting on my desk along with questions about how it works...I will probably purchase another for home use. It's just that handy for my daily pen (a TWSBI 580 AL).If you've pondered purchasing, just do it and know you'll enjoy it.
