While some replacement heater cores for these GMT400 trucks have a different sized tank and come with a longer clip to make them fit, this TYC core fit perfectly using the original retainer clip. No problems installing it and it came with more than enough new weatherstrip to replace the rotten old stuff. Got the heat back nice and strong in my '93 C3500.

Delivered within 3 days on June 28. Cheaply made, poorly packaged, damaged. Received return authorization June 29th with a replacment delivery date of 12-31 July, which to me is excessive. It took three days for the original and over a month for the replacement. Seller received returned item June 15, Well within the alloted time (by July 29). It is now Jul 28th and tracking shows it still has not shipped. q

The install process for the pickup model is pretty easy. This was direct fit. Went from absolutely nothing to keeping windows cracked. Definitely happy with this product.

Failed within 15 minutes. It fit perfectly but I noticed the intake and return lines seemed to be a little loose where they connected to the heater core. Hooked everything up, tested it for a few minutes and it all worked fine at first, but 15 minutes later, the intake line started spraying coolant all over the passenger side of my truck just minutes before I planned to put the heater core cover back on. The leak was right at the connection between the intake and the heater core. I will return this as soon as I can get an OEM replacement. Sucks to have to drain the coolant again.
