All of our threaded rod sections feature cut threads which means they start off as the full size round stock and threads are cut into the material. The 304 stainless steel provides great corrosion resistance that can stand up to harsher environments compared to any of the carbon steel options.

As u are going to find at s local supply house. Grade 5. 5 is better than grade 7 but below grade 8. I had a substitution of sizes. Go back and all the trail shows a wrong size ordered. I started taking screenshots when I ordered. 2 different manufacturers did Amazon substitute when the order was placed and then even the previous purchase history was changed. Maybe screen shots are the best. Amazon only gives these guys a few cents on the item back.For this fastener, I would buy again and again

Needed this specific bolt to secure a beloved Maple Tree that had split during a recent storm. 4 bolts, washers, nuts and drill bit pulled the sides and bark back together. Keeping fingers crossed!!!
