I love the concept of having a easy and quick connection point for my radio, but this device does have a weakness, which can actually be seen in the picture. The length of the clip causes it to rest on a person's hip, which causes the clip to canter into the wearer's side. This in turn results in the radio tilting into the wearer's side, which can be uncomfortable, especially if you use this for hiking. Had the radio "anchor point" had a bit of an outward angle to it, it would have made this clip much more usable. My other strike against this device is it's pretty expensive for a piece of plastic, especially compared to the Baofeng radio it's designed to carry.

This holster is a novel idea for carrying a radio on your belt. But frankly, it only moves the radio attachment an inch or so from the belt. You are still carrying it on your belt. The advantage with this item, is in its ability to minimize the amount of movement of the belt clip and radio while wearing it. The holster has "adjustment sticks" that can be placed to prevent a lot of movement on the belt. Having said that, the adjustors do not lock or click in place. So if you open the clasp, the adjustor will fall out if you are not watching for it. Overall, this is an interesting idea but not refined enough for regular use. 4/5 stars.
