This is a must for any swimmer who has a small pool and can't do laps. My kids are both swimmers and sometimes they don't have time to get to a lap pool to get their swim in so we got them this for our pool in the backyard. It allows them to get their training done in our back yard in our leisure pool, we just staked a pole in the ground to clip it to, so simple and easy.

Tuve una lesión en la espalda y me recomendaron después de la rehabilitación hacer natación. Pero ya que tengo acceso a una alberca pequeña, decidí probar con natación estática. Soy principiante y debido a la espalda preferí no usar correa que fueran a la cintura, pues leí que tendía a arquear tu cuerpo y caer tus piernas, mientras que las correas al tobillo ayudan a mantener las piernas al nivel del agua. Y en efecto estas me han ayudado mucho. No me estorban para la patada en crol, aunque claro que para el estilo de pecho (patada como rana) no es tan cómodo pero no es imposible. Las uso inclusive con aletas y no se atoran pues tienen un espacio en forma de asa entre la correa y al anillo para sujetar el velcro. No tienen un gancho para sujetarse de algún sitio, pero simplemente puedes rodear con la correa algo como la escalera para descender a la alberca. Muy buena elasticidad, no se tensa y de hecho te das cuenta hasta que dejas de nadar pues te retrae ligeramente al sitio original al detenerte. Muy buena calidad y durabilidad, llevó casi un año usándolas dos veces por semana.

The bungee cord looks solid but the velcro quality on the belt does not look like it will last. But it is still to early to tell.

We mounted a simple eye bolt onto the deck and used a carabiner to connect the cord to the eye bolt. A mounting system was not included in the purchase. By mounting the cord to be above the pool, as shown in the directions, I can kick freely without getting tangled in the cord. I've used this now for a few days; it is awesome. I'm able to swim using all the strokes I know for as long as I choose. The cord is out of the way while swimming. The belt is comfortable and adjustable for multiple sizes. It took a minute to get used to it, but that was it. I was swimming the distance in our little 18' round pool. I was able to work on different strokes. I did have to adjust the belt in order to work on back strokes, but that took less than a few seconds to rotate it around to the front. This simple device is brilliant. After swimming, I simply put the cord and belt up on the porch, and the belt dries out quickly. Belt Details: The belt is well stitched with plenty of velcro to adjust fit. It is wide enough to be comfortable. It was comfortable both against my skin and over a one piece. If you like swimming, but have a small pool, this is the best possible solution.

I built my own swim trainer with an elastic rope and a pool noodle once. It worked well, but this system works better. It is great for swimming into one direction instead of having to turn again and again. Love it.
