Assembly requires some mechanical aptitude (including patience and ability to read instructions). The chairs are high quality and very sturdy. A great value compared to chairs of equal value. The shipping was much faster than advertised. We are elated with the purchase.(2 holes for bolts appeared to not be drilled out on one side...a slight tap with a punch and hammer and the hole opened easily...problem solved)

Beautiful chairs and a great price, very comfortable. It was packaged very well. Every was in the box that was supposed to be, no missing parts. Not hard to put together, it took me a little while by myself, I did use my husband’s drill with his bit to fit the screws. Well worth the money.

This set, once assembled, is very pretty and sturdy. We love the glide and swivel features. We are not very tall but the chair is still comfortable. I just added a lumbar pillow behind me that helps me better reach the floor. I am 5’2”. It took my husband and I a week to put together the first chair. The problem was clarifying the instructions: everything is quite small. On the bottom plate it would be helpful to indicate which is the top and bottom. Our first try we had it upside down. Some of the washers were stuck together, and since there weren’t extras we had to figure out how to separate them. The worst part was installing the seat which really hurt our backs, hence, the fact it took a week. We did it in spurts. It is very important, as others have said, not to tighten the screws until after. It would also be helpful if the seller added a video. We checked on YouTube and found somethings somewhat similar, but it really wasn’t this set. After completing the first chair and feeling good about it we waited a day and tackled the other one. Voila. My husband then found he had a ratchet screw driver and that made things go faster. The only place we couldn’t use it was on the back side of the seat since a metal bar was in the way. The table, thankfully, was a breeze. We are very happy with this set and hope it lasts a long time. The cushions are about 3” thick and are comfortable. The rattan is a brownish black and looks durable. One complaint is the way some of the ends are cut so that unfinished ends appear and are seen, not hidden. I commend others who said they assembled this set by themselves. I believe most people would need at least one other person to hold things in place. Whew. All done.

Quality and great looking set and the "mechanics" of the chairs function beautifully and are very comfortable. The components were packed well with identifying letters for assembly and the instructions were clear. This is not a quick assembly, it will take time and patience, but so worth the outcome. Followed great advice on another review to not tighten hardware until fully assembled. Great customer service experience with UDPatio.

This set of chairs and table came with great instructions and was fairly easy to build. It took me only about an hour and a half to do it all by myself. The chairs seem well constructed. The color is very nice. The blue is more of a denim blue lighter than I thought. However, it turns out that looks really great on my patio. The chairs are very comfortable and feel like they will withstand outdoor use. I do plan to buy covers for them so they will last through the winter. I highly recommend this product and the seller did a great job packaging. The size of the chairs is really just the right size. The cushions are comfortable, however I know they will not last forever. I have the skills to create new ones when the foam wears out. Overall, very comfortable very practical good value color is good and shipping was timely.

This is an honest review by a recent purchaser. I strongly advise doing the assembly as I describe below, because every suggestion is based on my experience putting them together yesterday. The items arrived in a single massive box that our tiny FedEx driver had some difficulty delivering. It was partially split open on the top center seam, but everything appeared present and undamaged. I put them together in about 3 hours, at a moderate pace, in front of a box fan in on our shaded patio at 105 degrees F. Have plenty of water on hand, and a towel to mop the sweat out of your eyes!Assembly was challenging and time-consuming, as should be expected with outdoor, gliding and swiveling chairs. You want simple, order a regular 4-legged chair! I would advise assembling these near their final location, using a slightly padded, solid-colored piece of cardboard, or mat or rug underneath, because you will repeatedly drop nuts, washers, and/or the Allen wrench on the ground and it will save you hunting for them. Maybe have a magnet on standby to sweep for escapees. There are essentially no spares, so if you lose a nut or a washer, you will find yourself short at the finish line. You need to have at least moderate stamina, arm and hand strength, because you will be honchoing these heavy and bulky chairs in all directions as you assemble them. Directions have no words, but if you've ever assembled a LEGO kit with your children, you should have no problems understanding them. Just lay the larger parts out in alphabetical order. Very straightforward, multi-step, somewhat cumbersome assembly using the provided Allen wrench and crummy crescent wrench. Recommend using a similar-sized closed-end wrench to save your wrists, and have a knife or box cutter available to open the shrink wrap. Pay attention to the details about sequences of washers as you bolt things together. I had to take apart and re-build several large assemblies after I realized the sequence was wrong. Large items had a clearly visible letter code label on them, which was easily peelable without any significant residue. All small bolts, washers and nuts were shrink-wrapped on a single sheet for each chair, coded by letter. You cut the small parts open as you need them, which reduces mix-ups and losses. Do not fully tighten any of them until you are done placing all parts of the wicker portions. Then go back and tighten them until they are snug before attaching the glider swivels. Some of the bolts and screws are in slightly tight and awkward locations that will test your wrists. Perseverance and tolerance are valuable virtues here, but as you complete each step, you have a little sense of accomplishment when you see your chair materializing before you.Once assembled, these chairs are solid, somewhat heavy, sturdy pieces of furniture that I anticipate will have many years of useful life.Downers: I would note that not all the wicker is made of solid, round vinyl strands, but is made of flat, stamped, fake artificial wicker. This is limited to low-use areas of the sides and lower front and back fascia. I have some concerns about their durability in Texas weather. Also, the ends of the woven strands on the table edge are just woven back into the structure, like rattan would be, but 6 of the strands on our table had popped loose and were sticking out over the surface of the glass. It took a little effort to re-weave these back into place, making me finally realize the benefits of that basket-weaving class I took in Boy Scout summer camp many years ago. As many reviews mention, the backs are a little too low and have little lumbar support, and the cushions are a little thinner than I would like, but these are not major negatives to me. The seats are quite deep, which could be a problem for shorter people, but I love them! These chairs are really comfortable, with nice, wide, comfortable armrests, and swivel and glide effortlessly.Overall, we're very happy with these chairs, and the challenging assembly gave me enough skin in the game to respect how well-built they are. These are not cheap knock-offs.If I remember, I'll add a status update in a few months.
