Unless this thing blows up like one of those sponge dinosaurs in a capsule once it gets it the water, it IS NOT as advertised. This thing look like the shreds of LAST summer's flowers that I never watered! I'm not going to say it's an Amazon fail, yet. I want to see what happens when I put it in the aquarium.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase sea fans for my shrimp tanks (opae ula and neos) as I understand contaminants can be harmful for them, but these sea fans have been such excellent little playgrounds for my shrimp! They're the perfect size and you can even break them in half if you want smaller bits. Definitely recommend!

Definitely a couple inches smaller than what listing states- but I had read the reviews prior and already knew this. It’s exactly what I was looking for! Perfect for my nano tank! Actually looks larger in the tank!

I would say that the measurement is the size of a palm although it was exactly what i was looking for since i have a mini aquarium that it is being used in. Love it.

I boiled this in water to make sure nothing came with it. I couldn't get it to straighten out so it stayed on the curved side with the edges of the branches curving inward instead of spread out, but no big deal as it looks natural. Took a few weeks to arrive, but it's beautiful, priced well, and looks great in my tank. FYI this is a brackish water 1.5gal cylindrical tank, at half marine salinity, with Halocaridina rubra/opae ula/Hawaiian red shrimp, and some snails. The shrimp love it too!
