USA version: The frequency range of these units is 537.0 to 558.6 MHz. These frequencies are shared with USA UHF TV channels 25 to 28. TV stations have room-sized transmitters that may produce an effective radiated power of one million Watts. Wireless microphone transmitters produce a mighty .01 Watt, for the most part. The inverse-square law is your friend, but be realistic. :) Consult the FCC DTV Reception Maps for your intended use location, and you will find reference received signal strength for the TV channels there. (Note that the displayed channel number is usually NOT the actual RF channel. Click the station on the list, and the truth shall be revealed.) To minimize interference, pick your wireless frequencies in the TV channels with the lowest reference signal strength. If you're using several wireless systems, the rule of thumb is to allow at least 1 MHz between channels, and space them irregularly to minimize intermodulation issues.Quirk: The F20 units have a quirk. I currently have four pairs, and this is present on all four. The "topping" part of the charge cycle seems to take a loooong time. If you want these fully charged, let them go overnight, or even longer.

This is a great way to get old mics to be wireless. the battery life is pretty great in my testing, though my use is usually less than an hour or so so I am always able to keep them topped up. They don't add much additional weight to your mic which helps prevent arm fatigue and they're easy to get set up with.

My first unit stopped working, but the seller was responsive and sent a replacement no questions asked, so far the replacement has been working well for several weeks. This is the kind of thing that makes sound techs either breathe a sigh of relief or develop trust issues. Fortunately, this one falls in the not garbage category. The 150ft range is no joke, and it holds a solid signal even when surrounded by other RF devices. Works well for dynamic and condenser mics, which means fewer cables running across the stage for people to trip over. Ideal for anyone who’s tired of untangling XLR snakes at the end of the night.

After receiving this wireless setup I immediately started testing it in my home studio with my Shure SM58 mic and I'm happy to report that the sound quality was absolutely top notch. I didn't hear any noise or dropouts. FINALLY, no more XLR cables needed for my Shure SM58!!As far as build-quality, these units are built like a tank with all-metal casing. Basically, this is the type of equipment you would see being used by professional audio engineers.Connectivity between the two units was almost instant after I turned them both on. I did some distance range checking and I was able to go all the way over to the other side of the house and still get full transmission. The transmitter that plugs into your microphone is fairly lightweight so it doesn't make the mic feel too heavy. As far as the receiver, I was able to just simply plug it directly into one of the XLR channels.Compared to some other expensive brands out there, I think this manufacturer has done a great job and is definitely more competitive on price.

This is a sweet little wireless XLR Tx/Rx setup. You can use this with ANY XLR mic, because it will do 0, 12, or 48v. Interference shouldn't be too hard to work around with 32 channels to pick from, either. Personally, I got it to convert a wired podcast mic to wireless, freeing up a lot of hassle with wires. Battery life is so-so, I'll call it "good, not great" at around 5 hours. I guess after 4 hours I'm ready for a break anyway, lol, so it's not that bad. If you're looking for something to put in an 8 hour work day (or more), you'll definitely be charging mid-way through the day.The sound quality is great, and I love that they have screens on them which admittedly I have a hard time seeing but that's because my eyes aren't as good as they once were. Really, they're about as good as they could be, all things considered. They do provide a lot of info, though, like battery life and frequency. It should be noted that they have pretty much the same thing in different versions, for apparently different ranges. This one is good for up to 150 feet, having an internal antenna. They also make 2 models with external antennas, one good for around 200 feet, and the other for over 400 feet. I would make sure this model is the one you want, given how far you need to go. If you have a long distance to cover, you may want to check out one of their external antenna models, also sold here on Amazon. In all, this does exactly what I want it to do, which is make my wired mic wireless, so I'm happy with it. I can also see me using it for other things as well, such as sending an audio signal from my mixer to my Mackie powered speaker. Whatever your plans for it, it works great, just make sure you get the model that best suits your needs. 5 stars.

We tried this at a gig last night after my stupid Shure SM58 wireless kept getting interference despite changing frequencies several times. Turned my wired Shure Beta into a wireless mic and it worked perfectly with no interference, and the battery charge lasted all 3 hours of my gig with a couple of pips left to spare. It sounded good from what I could tell. We are surprised at how sturdy the components are. Very strong and heavy metal casing and the XLR port connected and locked with my mic securely. I was nervous about it coming loose, but it didn’t and I was able to move around easily. I also like that it uses frequencies that you can fine-tune for a clear signal and not just a few groups and channels. I will be trying this with my Sennheiser condenser mic next to see if they are compatible. I think this is a very promising product so far!
