We bought an umbrella that has a 1.92 inch pole thinking it would fit perfectly but the table does not have a 1.96 inch hole as stated in the description unless you grind out the 4 tack welds and then take a die grinder to the hole so you can fit a rubber grommet. The table is super nice and sturdy and like they way it looks but the hole not being big enough really caused a headache. Not only that if you have the umbrella style that we do that has 3 pole sections and the one section tightens directly in the square tubing of the table so i had to find some bolts of the same thread and cut them short to fit in the square tubing.
