This is just a regular small inspection mirror with a removable light attachment. If I break the mirror I can use the light on a different mirror.

I was using a coin sized mirror on a telescoping handle before this because I figured it would be easier to fit into tighter work areas when working on cars. Although true, there's very few work areas that require a mirror smaller than this product, for that reason I switched to using this telescoping mirror exclusively. It is a very ideal size and feels durable.

Great light and clear mirror. Beats the "dental" versions you can get anywhere where the mirror degrades. Can also use for work shop to look in tight spaces!

Great mirror for working in tight spaces. Very happy to have it when I need it. Holds in position better than any I have previously used, which makes using it a frustration free experience. Care needed in use and storage to keep mirror from breaking, several of these at worked are cracked. Got this at a tremendous value, much cheaper than retail. Happy.

Telescoping? Well, sort of. Not very much, and a lot of grease on the part that slides out. So that isn't useful. Packaging wasn't great, had to cut and tear to open. But as a mirror, not bad. The pivot joints are simple and work well. The mirror appears to be replaceable, not sure where I would get one, but not needed for now. Summary: fairly useful, and a reasonable price.

Made in the USA, great quality, great price. I'm a machinist and sometimes a test indicator can be difficult to see when dialing in pockets or drills, this mirror is perfect for what I'm using it for. The only possible improvement I can think of was suggested by another reviewer who happened to break his mirror would be to add a small protective shield to keep it safe while it's being stored. Personally I keep mine safe in my toolbox which remains stationary in front of my machine. Comparing this mirror's price and quality to the competition I went ahead and bought a second as a backup in the event of one of my co workers walking off with one of them.
