This telescoping magnet is one of the few magnets I’ve seen that doesn't have “slack” or a “wobble” when you fully extent it and hold it out vertically. You can tell it’s very sturdy and with the extended reach it carries, it’s more than enough to get you in those tough places.

I got this to replace a Craftsman Magnetic Pickup tool that was identical too this one. The craftsman came apart after around 5 years of use and apparently craftsman has discontinued making, so I searched high and low and found this one and I am glad I did.

The length and strength of the magnet is great.I added 2 pics one with it closed and the other is total length of 26.5”. This was a quick setup so I didn’t try to get it another inch or two to max out the horizontal hold.

Not impressed with the strength of the magnet or the thin delicately designed handle. Way overpriced compared to other brands of same quality.
