About this item

  • WINE CHILLER – Enjoy wine at the ideal temperature, instantly. Ullo Chill reduces the temperature of a whole bottle of wine by up to 10°F in minutes. No more over-chilling white wine in your refrigerator or having to serve warm red wine to guests.
  • WINE PURIFIER - Ullo Chill purifies any red, white, or rosé wine by removing histamines and the artificial sulfite preservatives while removing none of the natural compounds that make every wine unique. This patented Selective Sulfite filter technology is the magic behind Ullo purification and the only sulfite filter that will not alter your wine’s natural chemistry. Reveal new flavors and aromas that come alive in your glass without the lingering bitterness from sulfites.
  • WINE AERATOR - Ullo Chill is also a wine aerator. Unlike typical wine aerators and wine accessories, Ullo offers you the option to aerate selectively with an 'on/off' aerator switch to infuse oxygen into bold red wines or to protect the balance of delicate white wines.
  • SULFITE FREE - Enjoy any wine without the common side effects of sulfites. Sulfite removal for wine acts as a wine opener by freeing flavor and aroma compounds while also alleviating headaches and hangover associated with sulfites.
  • SIMPLE - Ullo Chill makes it simple to enjoy any bottle or glass of wine sulfite free, with proper aeration, and at optimal serving temperature. The latest in Ullo’s award winning wine purifier collection, Ullo Chill is the one wine accessory that does it all.

I'm very disappointed in this item as does not fit on my wine glass, and I have a large wine glass opening. Plus it leaks down the sides of the wine glass. It seems like I can't get the purifier to fit together just right. I tried over and over again, but ends up the same way. I've used the first one I bought SO much, that the rubber or something is coming off of it, so I have to purchase a new one, if I want to continue to eliminate the contaminates. Thank you.

I love the concept and on ‘test’ I find that I feel far better the following day after sharing a couple of bottles of red, than I do if I don’t use this. No stomach or head ache. Now this may be the case for a couple of bottles over an evening but the makers are clear this is about removing those chemicals that effect many, not a miracle cure for hangovers, but I do believe it does remove the groggyness I get the morning after. Now this does come at a price. The filter is not cheap in the first place and the cost of additional filters works out to be around £2 per bottle (although can stretch one to 2 bottles if in the same evening). Worth it? Probably but if the filters were half the cost I feel people would use more. Happy with the purchase? Yes and if you are someone who really suffers when drinking red, this will help.

I've had the original for a few years and love it. I bought this one because it can chill wine. I'm not too impressed with the chill feature. It chills the wine slightly but not enough for me to love this version more. Putting it together is a bit more tricky and if you don't assemble it correctly it will leak. Not sure but it seems like you can pour a larger amount of wine to get filtered with this version compared to the original.

This filter system is the answer to those who have reactions to sulfates in wine. I was experiencing issues with my A-Fib every time I had a glass of red wine. I totally stopped drinking it. When I heard about this filtering system I jumped on it. It works. I've had about 10 glasses of wine over the last four weeks and have experienced zero side affects. To the folks who enjoy their glass of wine this is definitely a good investment.

I can now enjoy my wine without the headache and nausea feeling from the harmful chemicals in any wine. Easy to use. You just need a little patience to pour the wine through filter. It’s slow. So worth it.

I gave up drinking wine many years back due to headache-inducing sulfites and hormonal woes. Wanting some relief and mind-numbing escape from the ridiculous pandemic restrictions (self-employed and lost my business), I decided to try wine again after discovering ULLO. They are wonderful. Already have the regular Ullo. I now keep my bottles in a 58-60 degree F wine fridge, which is good for reds, but not quite cold enough for my Chardonnays. And the regular refrigerator is a bit TOO cold for a full-bodied white. This one came to the rescue for my impatient self. Now I don’t have to wait for a bottle to chill or warm up and can drink my fav wine whenever the mood strikes. Lowers the temp 10 degrees—about 50 F is perfect for most Chardonnays. Don’t let the reviews from supposed “experts” deter you. These filters bind artificial sulfites. Both my husband and I can tell a huge difference if we forget our filters or drops (for outings). I am more affected by sulfites than he is—but he can still tell the difference. We now belong to several local wine clubs as we live in wine country and I am thrilled to be able to enjoy good wine, again. Neither of us can detect any difference in flavor and we have done several before/after taste tests. One filter is good for one bottle. My husband has tried pushing to two bottles (without telling me) and I ended up with a bad headache. Lesson learned. You can rinse and refrigerate the filter to use next day, if you don’t drink a whole bottle in one sitting. We usually grab a bottle to share and filter into each glass as we drink, rather than filtering and decanting the whole bottle at once. Aerates nicely, too. We typically don’t turn it to the aerate line, only because for most of our wines, not necessary. The process of filtering alone provides some aeration on the way into the glass as it streams out. Highly recommend. Yes, it adds a little bit to the cost of a bottle of wine, but very much worth it. If you are sulfite-sensitive like me, it is a matter of being able to drink wine or not. Simple solution. There is a sulfite-binding spritzer made by a different company, which I keep in my purse for going out—as carrying around a filter and apparatus is cumbersome. We use SO2GO. We did try an alternate, cheaper brand thinking they are all the same. They are not. The other stuff didn’t work at all so we went back to our original. Again, being able to drink wine again is worth the extra cost. Thank you Ullo!

People have been complaining about the ullo chiller leaking and when I first tried it I thought the same and went straight to google to find out why. Not much is available on the web about it but I figured out the reason “it leaks”. First things first, nothing is leaking before it’s filtered, the filter has a rubber gasket to prevent any liquid leaking before it’s filtered. Second the aeration design needs openings on the sides so the air can enter the aeration chamber and do it’s job. With that some liquid is bound to escape through those holes, that’s normal, just make sure you use a wide enough glass so the ullo rests on the glass on the rubber sides and not on the transparent part, the ullo has grooves on its sides exactly because that is where it was designed to rest on the glass so air can circulate into the glass/decanter. First picture shows you how it should sit on the glass. Second picture shows you the wrong way of using it. I hope this helps at least one person out there. Happy Drinking!

This is my second one. I use it for everything. Wine whiskey, to vodka.I pour my son two glasses from the same bottle wanted to see if it was making a difference.I gave him whiskey poured straight from the bottle first. Had him taste it then drink some water to clear out his palate. Then gave him the filter whiskey out of the same bottle. And before I could ask him if he could taste a difference. He looked up at me smiling and said , “oh now that is good.”He was shocked to find out it was the same whiskey.I am making brandy pears and will be filtering the brandy.

Chiller unit does not attach securely to filter unit. Wine leaks from sides of filter unit so not all of the wine gets filtered. Would not recommend.
