They were what we ordered and arrived quickly. They are gifts for my Boy Scout grandsons, so I’ve not opened.

A great addition to a 20 degree bag on a cold weather camping trip. As far as weight is concerned, it didn’t add too much. I was able to stage the liner inside of a mid weight bag and it seemed to work well enough. The way the trip had turned out, I slept in a thicker bag and lent this setup to a rookie camper who said he was warm, wasn’t too caught up with how thick or heavy the liner was. He slept comfortably through two nights of 17-28 degree weather. An excellent value and won over a likely life long camper

I was hoping this would pack down smaller. Quight bulky, I'll be using for just car camping and not for backpacking.

This review is for: MOUNTAINLODGE Ultralight Fleece Sleeping Bag Liner, Mummy Sleeping Bag Liner with Hood and Stuff Sack Suit for Camping, Travelling and Hiking in All Seasons (Black)I own an older mummy bag (circa 1998) by coleman that I love and works great as far as I am concerned. Occasionally I have needed just a bit more insulation to offset the cold weather when camping. This fleece liner is perfect. It is almost the same size as my bag and so there are not too many wrinkles/folds and the zipper is medium duty. It hasn't stuck yet but I have only used it 2 times so far. It is comfortable and eliminates the need to endure a cold sleeping bag when I hop in first thing (my bag has a poly-type inner lining that is always a bit cool until your body warms it up). This liner also has a draw-string that you can use to close up the "head" which is nice to be able to do that separately from my sleeping bag and not suffocate in my own hot, carbon-dioxide laden breath... Allows my head to stay a tiny bit cooler than the rest of my body. I suspect it will keep me even warmer when I use my bag in deep winter weather. The seams appear to have a durable seam/stitching. The bag has a surged seam (overlock) with a second seam straight stitched inside that. The zipper seam is only a straight stitch. There is a zipper for the foot box as well if your feet get a bit too warm. The included stuff sack is perfect size for the liner. And I think total weight is about just under 2 pounds.Overall, a very nice, warm, liner for anyone's sleeping bag.

This works very well in conjunction with a dedicated cold weather bag. It took my thirty degree comfort rated bag and brought the comfort rating all the way down to zero degree. I thought testing this would be a hard night but I slept like a baby. It is very lightweight and when rolled into my big bag it still fit into the stuff sack that came with the big bag. I have not used this by itself so I have no opinion outside of a supplement to a cold weather bag.

Sleeping bag liners are a great idea… they add several degrees to your bag’s rating in cold weather, can replace your bag entirely in summer, and reduce wear and tear and cleaning needs on your bag. As liners go, this one is plenty warm when combined with a sleeping bag. And I will definitely consider using it as a replacement for my sleeping bag during chilly late spring or early fall nights. And it’s soft… made of a lightweight fleece.Know what you’re getting though…. This is NOT a good liner for backpacking. It’s heavy and bulky and there are much better options out there to reduce weight and bulk. Few backpackers will want to give up 1.5 pounds to a liner, when every ounce counts. To give you an idea, I’ve included pics of a different lightweight liner that still adds 8-10 degrees to any bag. And for size comp, I’ve got my old synthetic fill sleeping bag that is pretty bulky itself by modern standards. You can see this liner is much bigger than the other and not much smaller than a pretty bulky sleeping bag. So if taking this backpacking, you’d basically be carrying 1.5 sleeping bags. For car camping or other overnighters, this is great. You could even snuggle up in it at the hunting camp or football game. Maybe a decent emergency blanket to keep in your car. But don’t think that because it’s billed as “ultralight,” that it’s good for backpacking. Also, for the cost, it’s pretty steep when you can get a $10 lightweight fleece blanket to do almost the same thing.

No more crawling into a cold sleeping bag with this warm fleece liner tucked inside! Shaped like a regular sleeping bag, this fits snugly. As we do a lot of camping, this is one of those things that I think was missing - comfort makes those trips more enjoyable, whether a day trip or overnight. I’m keeping this one in my car for travel. This is a lightweight fleece that dries quickly. Drawstring pulls the entire length of the opening so you can adjust the fit round your head. Opening is finished with a blanket binding. Zipper opens at top and at bottom. Zipper pulls are plastic, and zipper moves smoothly. I might prefer the zipper to be the hidden kind, or have a cover/flap, covers for the pull to tuck into. The bag rolls up into the stuff sack, and weighs under 1.5 pounds. Strap to your backpack, leave one in your car, pack it for camping trips - will be useful indoors and out, as a travel sleeping bag, at the beach, as a sleepover bag, or for movie nights or just hanging out on the sofa.
