It does not receive internet via satellite downlink whatsoever. It operates via the 4G cellular system. Operation requires a SIM card, which is NOT PROVIDED. The listing does say it requires a SIM card for use, but since this is marketed as a Free Internet device (just buy the unit itself and never get a service bill) one would logically assume that the required card is included. The listing does not indicate this card must be purchased separately.

This is listed as "Free WiFi Anywhere Portable Satellite Internet Ultralink Pocket Router WiFi Ultra Link Free Router." This is false on TWO counts. It does not receive internet via satellite downlink whatsoever. It operates via the 4G cellular system. Operation requires a SIM card, which is NOT PROVIDED. Presumably, one has to go to their Cellular provider, PURCHASE a plan, be billed monthly for it, then get the SIM card. How then, is this FREE internet-- as stated TWICE in the headline? The listing does say it requires a SIM card for use, but since this is marketed as a Free Internet device (just buy the unit itself and never get a service bill) one would logically assume that the required card is included. The listing does not indicate this card must be purchased separately. AMAZON-- do your customers a favor and investigate this company and listing.
