I bought this for my son now that he has taken up shooting. He’s been using it like crazy, and it’s working great for him.

For the price this is awesome, Ive been using it for 6 months now and still looks new. No tears or rips, cleans up really easy!

There is no decal on the front of the pouch, which reads "uncle mike". Instead, it's just all black. This is a cheap, vinyl-like, plasticky pouch - the plastic buckle broke after my first use. Your children could make a better one. Save your money.

Unless you have a need to impress someone this shell pouch works just fine, yes the belt could be a little more substantial, but for me it's perfect for when I go shooting with my young son, one pocket for my 12 ga shells and the other for his 20 ga, folds up nicely in range bag, not for someone that must have flashy labels but for good quality and functionality for the price.

Great bag, easily holds a box of 25 in one slot of the bag, still in box. The bag would handle 50 loose, haven't tried in a boxes, on one side leaving the second clot for empties. I have held at least 50 empties with a box. The belt that comes with it expands quite a bit for larger waist. Overall great quality and was exactly what I was looking for to use at the range. I haven't found anything to dislike about it, doesn't have a zipper to dump the empties, but I knew that going in so wasn't expecting it.

This replaces my 20-year old Bob Allen vinyl duplex pouch, which developed a seam tear earlier this year.Likes:- Inexpensive- Simple side-by-side duplex pouch for live shells and empties.- Inner pouch accepts a complete, intact box of shells, eliminating the task of fumbling live shells from box to pouch. Keep the box closed until your squad is called, then just tear or fold back the box top and you have five neat rows of five at your fingertips. You always know by touch how many shots are left at each shooting station. My old pouch lacked this feature and I really like it.- Elastic loops hold 2 spare shellsDislikes:- "Quality materials" don't appear so. The foam-backed nylon is thin, stiff and creased. Inside of pouch is rough and unfinished.- Nylon belt is very thin and lightweight, creases badly, looks terrible. If my jacket or shirt tail didn't cover this I wouldn't wear it.This item gets three stars because its inexpensive, does the job, and most importantly, loads an intact box of shells. However its cheap and looks it. Just fine for the occasional shooter but if you plan to shoot often, my advice is spend a few dollars more and get something better.

At first I thought is was too big and bulky. However, Uncle Mike knows what he is doing. It works very well and is typical of UM's being well constructed. We fired 250+ rounds of 12ga. while using the shell bag and found it to be handy to carry both the fired and unfired shells. I have only loaded it with 25 rounds at a time but it should be ok with 50 if a bit heavy of course. The belt adjusts easily and quickly for two people taking turns busting clays. Good price and a good product.

high quality and has a well thought out pocket layout. i can put a water bottle in the mesh pocket and my cell phone in the outer most pocket. the side pocket opposite the mesh pouch can hold 1-2 choke tubes.i sprayed it with some scotchgard to keep it dry and it has been going strong for a year and i expect it to last quite awhile.i highly recommend this pouch

I needed a simple, no frills shell bag for shotgun classes and practice. I didn't need the choke pockets or removable divider. This bag is roomy, hangs at a good angle to fish out shells, holds about 4 - 5 boxes of shells or two new and two casings. The divider is sewn in. I like that. The belt is removeable and seems to fit waists up to 50". I also liked the low profile logo. Good value.
