I work from home and like having this under my desk, especially on busy days when it's difficult to get away from my computer and I'm sitting a lot. For being an elliptical, it fits pretty nicely under the desk, however, it still a little bulky so I don't move it anywhere else since it would be a pain to store. If you're ok with this living under the desk, it's fine, and a great way to move a little while sitting for long periods.

I was looking for a piece of exercise equipment for my mom that she could use on days when she doesn't go to the pool that wouldn't take up much space, that had some variation, and that was quiet enough that she could use when she's watching TV if she wanted to. This definitely ticks those boxes. This elliptical has a small footprint, feels substantial without being too heavy, and is easy to move around due to the integrated "handle" on the top of the unit. It's virtually silent and it's easy make adjustments and select programs using the included remote control, with a caveat. We did encounter some hiccups in figuring out how to use it, which initially caused some confusion, so I'm going to explain that in some detail in the event others experience the same issue. There are two ways you can use this machine: in manual mode, or by running one of the 12 programs that are installed as presets and described in detail in the manual. According to the manual, to select one of the preset programs, you're supposed press the "MODE" button, which, when pressed in succession takes you through the programs, P1, P2, P3, etc. However, when I hit the "MODE" button, this isn't what happened. Instead, the "MODE" button cycled me through the various informational screens for time, distance, speed, calories, etc. According to the manual, the "FUNCTION" button should have controlled that. Curious, I hit the "FUNCTION" button, and it immediately began cycling through the preset programs that should have been controlled by the "MODE" button. So, the "MODE" button controls the informational screens, and the "FUNCTION" button cycles through the preset programs. So, either my remote control was wired improperly or there is an error in the manual. Since I don't know if this is true across the entire product line, I thought I'd let people know in case they encounter this as well. After selecting either a program or manual setting, you hit the "STOP/START" button to begin. If you're running a preset, it will cycle through the program as described in the manual, automatically adjusting the speed and direction. When using the presets, you cannot make speed or directional adjustments while the program is running. If you want more control over this, then you can use the manual mode, which gives you speeds ranging from 1 (42 r/min) to 12 (95 r/min) where I assume "r" is reps. The program can be stopped at any time by hitting the "STOP/START" button again. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, this machine has a good range of options for a stationary elliptical. There are two resistance bands included with the machine, but there's no mention of them in the user manual. These do attach to the machine with a carabiner, but it wasn't obvious where to attach them, requiring me to return to the product listing to get an idea of where they were supposed to go. They attach to the outside of each pedal to a flip out ring that's on the underside of the elliptical (see photos). When these are tucked in, they aren't visible at all, but once you know where they are, they're easy to find. There are no tips or exercises included in the manual about how to use the resistance bands simultaneously with the elliptical, so you'll have to create your own program if you want to incorporate them into your workout. All in all, this is a nice piece of equipment. Whether you have a sedentary lifestyle and want an easy way to get back to fitness or you're looking for something to keep the blood circulating at your desk job, this compact package has a lot to offer. It doesn't take up a lot of space, lets you run a preset or manual program, has the option to incorporate resistance bands into your workout, and is virtually silent when operating. It would be a great way to keep moving in the winter months when walking outside is more dangerous, as well as a great way to incorporate lighter exercise on off days from the gym. It's easy to use, easy to move, and suitable for virtually anyone at any age.

It is just as described. The size is perfect, easy to set up and works just as written in the product details. I use it on a daily basis because it is under the desk.
