As someone who works from home and has to be sitting in front of a computer most of the day, this is perfect. I set it up underneath my desk start using it casually throughout my work days. When I am not working on the weekends, I can move it and do other type of workouts.

I didn’t realize this was like a treadmill, in that when you turn it on it will move by itself and it has different speeds. It doesn’t have resistance when it’s on, but I have liked the idea that while using it, my feet and legs stay moving, even when I’m not exerting force. Time will tell if non-exertion will burn many calories, but when I do focus on it and really get my legs moving with exertion, I have felt it in my thighs afterward and a bit in my calves. I really like that this one has the feet spaced perfectly apart for comfort. I have tried another under-desk elliptical (one much more expensive) and the feet were spaced way too far apart, even for the men in my family. I think this is a universally pleasing elliptical regarding size and spacing. The remote is nice so you don’t have to bend over to adjust the speeds or the direction. You do have to hold the remote right between your legs for the machine to register. Overall, I’m happy with it!

I think it should be made more clear this is a -passive- exerciser. The "manual mode" has no settings or ability to offer tension or resistance, just speed-assist no different than the 12 programed modes; different motorized speeds in which the machine pedals for you, either forward or backward. Though useful for movement therapy or circulation for the sedentary, as the "manual mode" is really just free-spinning, there is no real strength or endurance exerciser here - despite the price. That understood, the build quality is decent, as are the included accessories. The movement is smooth as expected from an elliptical. Provided AAA batteries for the remote would have been nice.

This is a solid under-desk elliptical that performs well. The motion is smooth, and I appreciate that it allows both forward and reverse pedaling to help vary the workout. There are a few quirks worth noting. The included arm straps don’t add much—they feel like an afterthought. There were also no instructions on how to use the foot straps, which made setup more annoying than necessary. The auto program modes are very basic and doesn’t offer much beyond increasing speed. The listing also seems to imply a heart rate (HR) feature, but the manual clarifies that this is just a manual mode start/stop function—so don't expect any pulse tracking. The remote control is a nit unnecessary, also keep in mind it requires two AAA batteries that aren’t included.Despite these minor issues, the machine itself works well enough.

I'm impressed with my under desk elliptical. It's a low-impact, high-reward way to stay active at work. The compact design fits under my desk, and the adjustable resistance levels keep me challenged. It's quiet, easy to use, and tracks my progress. A great investment for office fitness!

The new Secretary of U.S. Department of Health should buy one of these under-the-desk ellipticals to send to every American who is hooked on sitting in front of a computer, for work or play. I am currently aiming at using mine for 90 mins a week, whether over 3 days (3x30m) or 6 days (6x15m). It fits perfectly under the desk that I spend far too many hours of my life. Hope it will help me keep my blood moving (cardio) and maybe lose some belly fat. I can certainly feel the crunch. Machine has many great features including designed for sitting down only and a wonderful 8.5 x 11" owners' manual that does not strain anyone's eyes. The only small faults I have noticed so far are: I have not figured out how to put the numbers on hold or pause so I can break up a session into several modules without losing the accumulated time, distance, etc. Also, the pedals and the base are heavy enough but the unit seems to be crawling away in a direction where I may be pressing harder on one pedal than the other. I'm assuming I can train myself to just let the pedals move my feet, not the other way around. Also, I have not yet attached the two side poles or studied how they work and what they control. Nevertheless, after just a few days of trial, I can say this is a five-star product.
